Victoria _rhayne that is why we need to keep rasing up the boys even higher internationally because this inmediatley affect the way they are seen and treated in their country (it is what it is ) we need to make sure koreans understand that they will never have another group or artist that would bring more archievments and pride to their country than BTS at least not in the next 20 years we are doing amazing right now but we should never get comfortable we what we and the boys have and always look for more and better things for us and the boys i love you all armys you all are so brave , so strong , so smart and so dedicated i'm not only proud of BTS but i'm proud of ARMYS too . We international armys are a huge part of the reason behind this interviews upgrades we fight and worked hard for the status and reputation That the boys have currently in korea so please never stop being this amazing , dedicated and passionate fandom that knows NO limits when it comes to make sure the boys reach better and higher heights again i'm so proud of my fandom ARMY i 💜 you all

This is my personal opinion on what i like about Korea. Although i live in the UK Korea is becoming big internationally like so many people i know are learning Korean or even know some of the languages. The language it self is just lovely to hear i myself want to learn Korean but i have many other things i need to fix in my life but when i have the chance i want to learn it fully. I understand 15% of what Koreans say when they speak which i am baffled about. The next thing i like about Korea is the food. Seriously, don't get me started the food is just amazing however, i want to personally visit Korea and try the food from the home country instead of England. Over the span of 1 year i have watched so many K-dramas its Mad. Some are to the point made me cry because it was so good. The people in Korea Lord they are beautiful, stunning and Handsome like WOW. I have not seen so much natural beauty in my 17 years of living can someone tell what their skin routines and what skin products they use. Lastly, Bts got me into knowing more about Korea which is just wonderful to know. Knowing Bts is something i can't describe to say their power is something unimaginable. They have turned my life around i mean i have went through the darkest time of my years in the last 6 years and me knowing Bts just gave me restoration for not loosing hope. Their lyrics are just memorable to hear. I believe that BTS is Korea's PRIDE. I hope some Korean's and people around the world can appreciate the hard and painful but loving and happy moments they bring for Korea and themselves as a group, even better as a family because as an Army i would too.

I find it interesting that so many people said hangul. As a korean language learner, I agree that it's pretty awesome, but I never would have imagined that so many Koreans are prideful of it! Really cool!
@koyukiny5 жыл бұрын
Koreans take so much pride in hangul bcz it is one of a kind unique and scientific language which all the linguists around the world praise for being scientific and logical. Hangul is also known to be one of the few languages in the world that clearly defines who is the creator and why he created. The great king Sejong created the language in the early 14th century and he did it bcz he felt bad that the low class citizens didnt know how to read &write bcz aristocrats use Chinese characters which were really hard and impossible for these poor low class citizens to learn bcz they were always working. so he made hangul to let his citizens to be able to read, write, and make judgements on their own without being told what to do by aristocrats. The great king Sejong is the most respected king in the Korean history and Koreans look up to him and are so proud of hangul. A lot of linguists around the world say hangul is one of the most scientific &logical languages which is easy to learn, read, and write and helps decrease illiteracy in general. Once you learn the basic consonants and volews you will be able to read at least.
@aperson71515 жыл бұрын
Hangul is really cool. When foreigners see circles, squares and other weird shapes, Koreans see actual letters that can be formed into words. That's one of the reasons why I love the language
@happyyy14455 жыл бұрын
@@koyukiny Yes, my Korean language professors went over this history with the class before we even began learning. The history of hangul and the linguistic foundation it has is definitely fascinating, so I completely understand the pride! I could clearly see how proud my professors were when talking about it, but it amazes me that the general Korean public are also aware of this history and really proud of it themselves. Then again, I think there's a Korean holiday dedicated to hangul, so I shouldn't have been so surprised, lol. I wasn't sure whether Koreans actually cared about or celebrated that day though.
@happyyy14455 жыл бұрын
@@aperson7151 Same here! Hangul looks really clean to me. The letters just come together nicely. It can look really cute too, though my Korean writing definitely doesn't, haha.

This video was great and very insightful, thank you. Being proud of your country and naming specific events or accomplishments is wonderful. Seeing this video two years after it aired, we can see how much South Korea’s influence has spread around the world since then but not just because of BTS. A few things I found notable was that only one person, the gentlemen who mentioned his military service also mentioned there could be improvements related to racism; not one person mentioned SK’s phenomenal economic boom due to focused effort in the late 80’s-early 90’s which really helped SK move forward on the international front; and the mention of “Parasite” which went on to win the Academy award for Best Picture, an extraordinary first from one of the most racially biased industries in the United States.
