You have to get the password either way, so you have to guess it, for even if you intercept the password, it is hashed and you would need to brute-force that hash key, which i think is actually the network password.

Great video. How do you assign private ip addresses/different ssids to multiple PC's/devices i.e. smart phones, tablets on your residential internet? Do you have to use an EdgeRouter and use NAT rules? What is the simplest way to do this? My ISP only gives one dynamic ip address unless I pay for expensive business internet at home with static ip addresses. What equipment and setup would you recommend for this. additionally is there a way to do this on a 4g/LTE cellular router/modem when traveling? Same thing assign private ip addresses/multiple different ssids. Thanks

Once u changed ur MAC address go to network and sharing center and click on change adapter settings and right click ur WiFi and click disable once its disabled click on enable again it should work with the MAC address u changed it too

I think if you’re using a virtual machine then your wifi connect goes like this: satellite > internet provider > your router > your computer > virtual machine So that’s why your MAC address isn’t changing because the connection still has to go thru your computer. Hope this helps

Hi, turn off the modem and your computer. Wait a minute before you turn on the modem. Then turn on your computer.The modem then should detect the new address, assign the IP to it and it should work.

just quick note : the network layer you mentioned is call "FRAM" not a packet because we are talking about three main layers of network functions are : 4 Transport + 3 Network {and now the data is called packet} + 2 Data Link {and now the data called frame} and in that layer where mac address and switches operates I hope that was extremely clear
