Setting it in the same universe as Core Space is a stroke of genius. When I first heard about it, I was like "Huh? Fantasy Core Space? Kinda neat" but without having much interest beyond that. Now I know it's set in the same setting, and has thought out reasons for why a fantasy setting can exist within Core Space, I'm totally onboard.

Core Space is such a good game on it own, but I really like using this terrain with 5 Parsecs from Home. I've been using their current fantasy terrain for Elder Scrolls: Call to Arms, Rangers of Shadow Deep, Five Leagues from the Borderlands. Can't wait to back Maladum for the game, but having dungeon terrain is such a nice bonus. Really like everything Battle Systems creates!

Thanks Andy! Loved the look and sound of this, as I knew I would. I can vouch for how nice the minis are in the CS games. Spend time edging the terrain with felt tip; it really makes a difference.

Great video, and I have been curious about this. My only issue with this and Core Space are the crews, or parties. I would rather be able to create my own then have to select from a library of pre-gen characters. Although the miniatures in CS were good enough, I would much prefer to use my own. Enjoyed the video Andy, and good luck to Colin and BS on the upcoming KS.

I think Colin explained at the end of the video that there’s a way to create your own characters.

I am really careful with what I support on kickstarter, but must say that this one caught my attention as the only interesting thing going on for quite some time. Can't wait to see the extend of possibilities and modularity involved. The lore seems pretty well thought as well! Regardless of whether I'll jump in fingers crossed for the project.

I'm not sure I got if this one is more similar to the original Core Space (originally pvp but easily coop/soloable, more versatile in general) or the sequel First Born (solo/coop as main mode of the game, difficult to play pvp)... Does it come with two starting bands?

I have hundreds of miniatures already, I would love to have a way to make my own dashboards for my own miniatures. Nothing wrong with the miniatures in the game, I just have so many painted ones and I want to use the miniatures I already have.
