Never heard of it, but it sounds like some of IBS, IBD, and GERD symptoms could be explained by MALS. I also have EDS and ADHD (which they are finding could be related).

First hearing of it today, but the content of it is very familiar and has been for a very long time.

I am Japanese. I was also recently diagnosed with MALS. Blood vessels are almost occluded during exhalation. There is not much information about people who have experienced this disease in Japan, so I found a video from overseas. I didn't always feel pain after eating, but I always had heartburn and a feeling of pressure in the pit of my stomach. When I exercise, I feel sick, so I quit, and in my case, I gained weight. You may feel sick and unable to move. I can't sleep well at night either. I'm scheduled for surgery in February, but lately I've been feeling a lot of pressure in the pit of my stomach, so if my wish comes true, I'd like to have the surgery as soon as possible.

I had never heard of it until this video. Now I am wondering about the overlap between "spastic colon" and this.

The first time I had surgery of my celiac artery, they opened me up to put a stent in. That was 23 years ago and now I’m having the same problem. The stent is completely clogged and I prefer myself them to open me up so that they can see everything they’re doing correctly they had to take veins from the back of my. Legs in the back of my knees they had to do a bypass a few times and now this time it’s worse than the first time.

Thank you for this video. I'm seeing my GI doctor this Thursday and I'm going to bring up this diagnosis. So far all my tests have been negative but my abdominal pain persists.

I have it celiac artery compression syndrome. They put a stent in three years ago, and the stent is completely clogged. My body has made little veins for the blood to go through to my organs and wherever else it needs to go.

(I hadn't watched one of your videos in a while and when I started this one I finally realized who the actress playing adult Shauna in Yellowjackets was making me think of!! you have very similar ways of speaking and even look alike a little sorry for the randomness still watching)

Did you by chance ever have low rib pain, or persistent muscle twitching all through the area under sternum and all the way across? Or feel like your core muscles wont engage while standing or sitting with good posture? I have these symptoms ontop of all the ones with MALS. So im not sure if im dealing with something like mals or if this is a rib problem. Ive had alot checked to no avail. Upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, all my organs are ok, lungs on xray good, even ruled out breast cancer. I do believe i have suffered possible pots like symptoms since high school, pain after eating for years now. Im very very thin. Like almost scary thin. I thought i might have intercostal neuralgia but because of my weight, my doctor will not do any injection blockers for pain managment because im too high risk for a lung collapse. I wrote most of my symptoms off to other things as they gradually appeared but this past year has been miserable. Thanks for any help you may offer!

I had rib pain (mostly right side over my liver and gallbladder) and chest pain. Not so much twitching. When I was a kid I described it as having a chest burster from the movie "Alien" growing inside me.

I'm sorry you've had such a rough experience. And thank you for the compliment, but becoming a doctor is not in the cards for me. I love what I'm doing now 😊
