I'm 31 years old I've had molluscum for 3 months now , 1 month ago is when I decided to start to treat it by myself at home , I have molluscum in the groin area. I started taking baths twice a day , and always wear clean underwear , but the most important thing that I started doing was to pour 76% alcohol in a plastic cup , and pour apple cider vinegar also in that plastic cup mix them and apply it with a piece of cotton or toilet paper all over my molluscum infected area and I would soak my skin and make it very wet with the alcohol/applecider-vinager mix , it burns a bit but it kills the molluscum pimples much much faster compared to when I was not doing nothing to treat it. This mix I make makes these molluscum pimples swell up a bit and after a day or two it makes them start to turn dark and that's how you know that the pimple is dying. also going to the beach and staying very long in salt water also seemed to help kill the molluscum quicker , that's why I go to the beach every weekend now and I take regular baths and after bathing I apply the alcohol/applecider-vinager mix on my body and I don't put on clothes until my soaked skin has dried up by itself , I just stay naked and let the vinager and alcohol finish penetrating my skin , that's how my molluscum have reduced greatly in number , in a couple of weeks I'll be totally free from this dirty molluscum contagiosum sickness. I wanted to share my secret with others Hope it helps all af you ,and also the higher the alcohol percentage in the alcohol bottle the better

Molluscum should be treated ASAP once you notice it. Do not wait it out. It's not worth having to worry about it for a year or two. Get it zapped and taken care of by a Dermatologist.

I used Apple Cider Vinegar(w/ mother) to get rid of my daughter's MC. You'll cut a cotton swab into small pieces, dip the piece in the vinegar & then apply swab on the bump. Use a band-aide to hold the swab on the bump. Leave this on over night. Continue to do this every night. My daughter's bumps are almost gone and Ive used the vinegar 2 nights now. She's 7yrs old and had about 12 bumps. (on her ankle, panty line area, leg & back) They were spreadinv quickly. Theres no way I could wait for those to go away as they were spreading fast alm over her.

I have a family member who had a bunch of them on her neck when she was little they didn't go away on there own...so they had them removed by frezzing them off...she has little spots on her neck now that she is older but you can barely see them.

ah, hope their better! I developed mine on my legs, idk why i typed this up lmao, and i eventually didn’t need to remove them and they began to dispapear after a year or so :D

They were up around my upper legs and butt lmao I tried to ignore it for the longest time but eventually my mom found out and I had to get them frozen off. Weirdest experience of my life for sure. I remember my legs feeling so weird afterwards and me limping to the car xD I had to go back one more time after that and some ones still came up but they just went away with time. This was all about a year ago, and now all you can see is just small little creases in my skin. Sorry for typing a bunch I just thought it was cool that someone had kind of the same experience as me xD

Hi... I still dealing with my molluscum about 6 months in my inner thigh area. I did electrocauter but still coming back at around area(different place from the removal I did). I don't know where I got this virus, I was down and sad when i think about it. The doctor say It's okay but the google scared me. I used to consume multivitamin everyday. My husband is free from molluscum, but from that moment i don't know where i got this virus, I always use condom.

Yeah but if you dont do anything does it spread everywhere? I've had it for 3.months and the cluster is on my inner thigh but I've noticed I have a few on my stomach and dont know if they are new or were there since first infection.
