Mutual fund can be judged with their past performance & performance if the Fund Manager. The effective the Fund manager is the effective your growth will be. To find non performing funds, you keep on analysing your portfolio at least once in a year (for M.F). This way you keep on rebalancing your portfolio in YOY basis. All the best…. But they have come up with many positive changes in the fund. It would be better if you have your some SIPs in Large-cap & Diversified Equity Funds. Hope this resolves your query. I'm 21 and my father never invested anywhere in his life and now he always seems worried whenever some high expense like my education or anything comes, that's his choice he always relied on FDs which are not giving that much returns stock market might have.
