Dan, thanks for the info. I just pick up a fully functional and dirty machine much like the one in your video for $20. But my father has a single shot with all metal tracks and hardware. Handed down to him by my grandparents who lived in Japan for a while. How much would you say those ones are worth?
@MagicPachinko2 жыл бұрын
@@jeffro8948 Jeff. As with any pachinko machine that isn’t a special one, they are worth whatever someone will pay you for it. The machines from the 60’s are worth a bit more as they aren’t as plentiful. And you may find a collector that is willing to pay more simply because it is older. It really comes down to what condition the machine is in. The better the condition, the more it’s worth.

Perfect description of a pachinko machine!

Dan - YES all you say is the TOTAL truth.. 😉😉😉 But you forgot to make a note about the machines before 1970 for if you wanted one, you had to go to japan to get them. 1940s, 1950's and early 1960's in a descent condition is more difficult to locate than the 1970's machines. And also don't forget that some manufacturer names are less to much less common like : HEIWA Like my 1969 HEIWA machine that was purchased in 1972 in Osaka Japan by my old naber when she was 23.

Hello. I just got one from the the 80s it’s a heaven bridge model. How much you think they are. It’s in perfect condition
@MagicPachinko2 жыл бұрын
If it’s from the 80’s, it’s not considered a vintage machine and out of my area of expertise. Sorry.

Hi Dan... thanks for this restoration video! I brought a machine home with me from a Pachinko parlor in Sasebo in 1968, when I was stationed on a carrier, during Vietnam. Now, I intend to clean it up to make it playable, once again! I'm hoping you can give me a little more information about it? On the front it says "Komura Industry Co. Ltd." and "Ginza". There is also a sticker in the upper left corner that says "1964 SunCell". The game came with a good supply of Orion balls, engraved with stars and hearts. Anything you can tell me about this machine is appreciated! Thanks, Tom

Are these "antique" pachinko machines still massed produced? I went to Japan several years ago and I did not see one in any of the parlors I went into. They all had the newer video screen anime ones. I was a little disappointed really. Regardless here in the States I am seeing them generally between $50 to $100 for local pick up. Most do not know the condition themselves or so they claim. Most are missing balls and or the key and of course been in a barn unprotected or some other such place. They may not be rare in the grand scheme of things, but I do not know anyone personally, minus one uncle that had a functioning one decades ago, to ever own one or really even know what one is.

There are still plenty of vintage machines out there. You are right, most people don’t know about them.

Once you are at my site, there is a link at the top of the page. “What is my pachinko machine worth?” If you are using a phone to view the site, look for the three little lines that when you tap on them give you a menu that will have that link as a choice.
