Ok. I was confused. I was like, "what the heck is voice type?". Got it. I'm a very small-ranged contralto. It's so frustrating because I sing beautifully........a little. Smh

Okay I'm confused. My range is Bb2-G#5. But the problem is my voice is quite deep. I can produce whistle notes too, so vocal range is B2-F5-E6 on a normal day Bb2-G#5-A6 on a good day. What does that make me?

Go down to your lowest comfortable note then up to your highest comfortable note. That should give you an answer.

I am a tenor with a fairly extensive range. The more often I sing the bigger my range gets.

Does that count falsetto? Because on average ppl have a 2 ocatve range Like if it is falsetto your range in real talking voice, or chest voice should be up to F4 G4 max if you're a Baritone

i’m confused. as of right now my peak in belting E5(on a goooood day). but my consistent range is A2-C#5 with my falsettos peak being E6 but only goes up to D6 consistently. what does that make me?

I can sing from e2 to b3 but at c4 my voice crack, does that mean that I enter my head voice and should learn how to blend?

My lowest note - B2 on good day A2 My highest note- Bb4 on a good day it's B4 My falsetto starts from Ab4 to F5. What can be my possible voice types? I don't have a very light voice but not too heavy voice either.

At my school choir it has soprano 1 and 2.I'm Soprano 2 which is a deeper voice compared to Soprano 1.I made a mistake and been in the Soprano section the whole year.I tried asking the Teacher but she didn't do anything about it.It was hard to sing in that section when I'm surrounded with Sop 1's.I never moved to Sop 2 mostly because my friends were all in the Sop 1 section

You're young. As you get older, your range will vary drastically over the next few years. 🙂

Been trying to work on my singing for about 5 yrs now. It just hit me...I don't even know my voice type. After watching this video, I get the basics but I'm still confused as I have a very nasally sound to my voice. Sweet spot? I think I know where that is. I feel amazing when I get to that part of the song when I can just let go and let it all pour out. If anybody can give me a listen and let me know it would be appreciated. I mostly sing Malaysian songs but there are some English languaged songs on my page.

I'm a bass but I'm so tired of people confusing a bass with baritone register as a baritone Lord Knows baritones have better falsetto ranges. My range is B1 to C4

That seems to be a problem. I am a baritone with 2ish bass notes and some people consider it bass Eb2-G#4 but I'm no bass. F#2-G#3 is my comfortable range therefore I am baritone. Yes I have F-Eb but I hardly use them. I may have a slightly lower baritone range, but for some reason that means bass. It sounds cooler to be baritone with some bass and tenor than high bass with baritone and some tenor.

@@Fearless13468 honestly f#2 is bass baritone range. It's in between both factors systems of singing. I don't consider myself a baritone because I sing more comfortable singing basso notes.

Falsetto doesn't count in your range The chest voice is the range that counts

@@sgejkwkwkail4423 hmm I'd say a baritone. As for what kind perhaps you could be a lyric baritone, which is a slightly higher sounding baritone, or a baritenor meaning you sound like a baritone on lower notes and a tenor on those higher ones
