the best parts of the video for me was the restaurants / food and the beach! its been too long since I have had a really good ceviche! gated buildings and all inclusive hotels arent really my style though. same reason why I didnt really love Marina Vallarta. much prefer the authentic local towns and neighbourhoods. but thanks for the tour. in another 20 years Nuevo Vallarta will look much more finished than it is now.

Hi, I'm travelling to Nuevo Vallarta for the first time in 5 weeks, So thanks for the helpful video! 😊 Can i ask, The small speedboat that takes you across, Can you also just use that to gain access to the over side and not just to book a tour? I will be staying at Riu Vellarta and want to visit the Marina but noticed on google maps it would be a long walk around where it looks like there is some restaurants. I won't be driving and just wondered if it's ok to pay the 1.5 dollar for the taxi boat. Thanks very much 😊
@LarissaSokla3 жыл бұрын
Hi Ash. First off I would suggest you to check if the small boats are operating now, because in low season they are not. I would walk from Riu (about 40 min) or take a bike (10 min) and check it out . The boat is not a speed boat , it’s a slow little ferry. It takes you only to the other side of Marina. You can also reach Vallarta Adventurers by land I hope I answered your question:).

@LarissaSokla2 жыл бұрын
@@christinaeaton8733 hola Christina there is only one public bus you can catch. The bus has a sign: Nuevo Vallarta Rio . It comes every 15-20 min during the day time. It will take you to your hotel, tell the driver the name of your hotel and he will drop you off. Also you can take an Uber, it cost less than $200 pesos ($10 us) I hope it helps:)))

Hi there ! So glad I found your video, my wife and I are to come there in Feb and would like to rent a place for a month or two , we are coming for a medical treatment. Any insight of where to live and how to find a good rental property?
@LarissaSokla2 жыл бұрын
Hola , hola There is the link to watch one of my videos about how to find a rental in PV kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnnPg4V-jMxgpKc I would recommend you to start to look for the place to rent right now, because it is high season and less inventory is available. I would love to help you with some recommendations but I don’t know which area do you prefer. I have many videos about different parts of PV, Nuevo Vallarta, Bucerias, La Cruz, Sayulita and more. Maybe it will help you to choose where to stay :) Thank you very much for watching my KZbin channel Happy New Year!

Thanks Larissa; love your videos. Do you speak Spanish, and if so how did you learn? Did you take courses, or just pick it up as you lived there?
@LarissaSokla3 жыл бұрын
Hola Eugene :) I speak Spanish but still need a lot of learning to do . I started with Rosetta Stone app , I really liked this application as you can learn and listen to it everywhere. I have to improve my grammar but have no problem to talk to local people . Now it’s easier to learn when I am totally emerging into it. I would definitely recommend to have at list basic Spanish before coming here.😊💥 thank you for for watching my KZbin channel:))))
