It comes in a few flavors like Original Nuka-Cola, Nuka-cherry, and Quantum. Nuka-Cola Quantum was advertised as having twice the calories, carbohydrates, and caffeine of the original with an extra kick being a mild radioactive Strontium-90 isotope.

Technically, we've all likely had a Nuka Cola (classic) already, as the ingredients are identical to Diet Coke or Diet Pepsi. Even Nuka Cola's inventor's name is a combination of the names of the inventors of Pepsi and Coca-Cola as a little nod to the real-life inspiration of Fallout's soda pop. That being said, would I have a Nuka Break if a real Nuka Cola was set before me? It would depend on the circumstances. I'd say yes if the Nuka Cola in question was fresh from the bottling plant in Pre-War condition, I'd try it at the very least. In Wasteland condition, being 200+ years old, irradiated, and flat as a pool table? Eh, I think I'd pass unless I was really in the Wasteland and there was nothing else. On the other hand, I did drink a whole case of Pepsi that was three months expired once upon a time, and I didn't suffer any ill effects, tasted all right and still was carbonated too.

I probably would drink nuka-cola but to taste it. If it tasted really nasty then I would put in a bottle of coke and give it to someone just to see their reaction, but if it tasted good then I would drink it and also probably send someone a sample so that they can get fallout drink stuff which is cool in its self
