I just had my third somatic experiencing-session and it already changes my life. It‘s like a big awakening. Even my asthma got much better after releasing the trauma of my lungs. It feels like my constant inner war just ended. It‘s such a release. This will save our world. This will help humanity to awake. May all beings awake and find true release from their suffering.

@@TheBianka81 Oh, happy to hear it, that it helps. Are you doing your session online or no? You're mentioned that after the third session, you had changes, ans how you feel now do you ffeel anxiety or something like yhat after your session? How long you are in therapy? How exactly looks one session of yours? I had just one session up to now and, I don't know, also I had bad experience from my previous therapist she was Sensorimotor therapy, wich is Somatic therapy, that's why I don't know what to expect. Thank you in advance!

@@petyabor5223 Hi, I‘m still in therapy every second week. We are working in every session on topics which are on top at that day or moment. My therapist asks me about things in my body and we try to explore an release it. I always get really good images for relief. I think it will take a quite long time to go on with my themes. It‘s good to learn not to rush but take my time for each theme and especially for integration. Lots of love and blessings, Bianka

Contraction and expansion as the basic rhythm of life--I love this! This means that in our worst moments, we are only temporarily disconnected from the expansion that is coming. Peter, I can see expansion in your bright eyes! Thank you!

I think when dealing with anxiety it's important to not stop and leave/avoid the situation when experiencing the contraction. that way you never give your body a chance to experience that the bad sensation will eventually stop. the expansion will come, it always comes.

ONly if you can handle it, you don't want to risk re-traumatizing yourself, which is why somatic therapists bring you through this slowly letting you handle only what you can.

Attachment styles are about more than romance. They’re wired into the core of our nervous systems, and they’re a foundational element of who we are. They show up every time we get stressed - in any relationship. Unresolved wounding is what causes us to be so insecure. If you want to feel security, connection, and confidence in every aspect of your life, then you MUST learn how to solve the conflict/repair cycle because that’s the foundation of it all. The journey doesn’t end by learning your attachment style. It’s just the beginning.

This also made me think of success (expand) and failure (contract). Neither is exclusively good or bad, positive or negative, worthy of praise or deserving of shame. It depends on context, AND if you allow yourself to learn from the experience and use that knowledge to move yourself ~and others!!~ forward. (A little rambly, and probably sounded better in my head 😄, but there you have it. ✊♥️)

What you say about Pendulation makes a lot of sense to me. The pendulation process, since I first encountered the Trauma, has lasted almost 10 years. For years, I felt useless due to the inability to resolve, decide, and give a direction to my life. I still in this process, but I am more pacient with my self. I still felt/feeling like "not being" It's great that science has progressed, and brilliant minds like Dr. Peter enlighten us, showing that we just need to trust the process and be benevolent with ourselves. Thank you for uploading this video.❤

What does he mean? Is this physical or mental expansion. He refers to the body and amoeba which suggest physical. So is he talking about the body physically contracting and expanding, or the mind or both? Sometimes the language used by these people is a struggle.

Probably something best experienced for oneself, but it seems like he’s talking about the body/minds tendency to retract / withdraw from pain or fear of pain, vs. relaxing / trusting bodily sensations / being “open” to raw sensory experience. The more you relax your body the more sensations you can feel

Does pendulation actually function in people who have trauma and persistent or chronic pain? It feels like when the tension / contraction that comes with these conditions hits, it keeps contracting over and over again and it hurts to match that.

here's what I'm working on... I'm desperately struggling... I need prayers. I need guidance. I need help. I need a miracle. MY VOICE HAS BEEN SILENCED MY WHOLE DAMN LIFE. MY BEAUTIFUL SACRED MIRACULOUS VOICE. MY VOICE IS MY MAGICAL GIFT OF TRANSMUTATION! that being said, all my life... I have given people access to me in ways that I should not have EVER granted them access now, I want to scream at the top of my lungs: FUCK OFF!! YOU DO NOT GET TO HAVE ACCESS TO ME IN THAT WAY!! THE DOOR IS NOT OPEN!! YOU MAY NOT COME IN!! ACCESS DENIED!! but fuck, so much easier said than done. I've been programmed my whole life to be silent, conditioned to have no boundaries... so how, now, at 44 years old, do I change this all around? (may those whom I loathe suffer for all eternity for what they've done to me! TRULY.)

I think that in particular a letting go of resentment by noticing anger and how it feels in the body, and breathing out, when in a moment of NOT being in a bad situation you realise right now you are okay, right now you are safe. Letting go of the tension in this moment. As to not being heard that's what I heard you say because I too have almost always no matter where I am I'm not heard! I began to see that I need to write my thoughts and feelings and hear myself at least. I talk to God. I feel the pain even right now it is between my heart and my throat the feeling of not being heard. That's also been in my gut. I have fought depression and basically not able to cope. I am learning how to just let the feeling be, and relax it. I studied yoga in 1989 and I'm going online for learning somatic experiencing. Have hope and boundaries internally, don't let the anger of whatever you have suffered still burn and burn - feel and acknowledge thoughts and feelings and then choose to let it go and trust the process.
