@@DebunkFile that would also be a potential explanation for the strangeness of time in the arg and the childhood themes! dissociative identity disorder (or multiple personality disorder for people who aren't knowledgeable about it) is stemmed from childhood trauma. there is what seems to be a suggested pedophilia subtext to parts of the series which could also be partially explained this way, as well as the for cameron videos. and there are alters (other personalities) with DID that are mentally stuck in a specific time, such as when the trauma took place.

I get the feeling that this was meant as a horror-parody of internet drama. Both “The Protagonist”, “Sl33pr” & “The Antagonist” seem like shitty & selfish people(with the exception of Scott perhaps, who I believe to be member 1, but considering the things that were said about Scott 05 perhaps he’s also just as bad as the other members) ultimately all the members are only out to protect their own asses and slander eachother, kind of like what happened with people like leafy and keemstar Perhaps a big reason they stopped is because this kind of drama has faded, of course it still exists but channels like leafy and keemstar as I previously mentioned aren’t as active anymore or have gone to do other stuff, so the very thing they were parodying wouldn’t be as relevant.

I've been looking for good arg channels that cover and explain things. NightMind started my love for the arg, but then I was so new I didn't know where else to go to learn more or discover new args,past and future. Not too many channels cover it, and even less so do it well. It is criminal that you are under 6k subs, but you will surely grow quickly with your content the way it is. Doesn't hurt that args are gaining appeal and more are discovering them also. So I hope you keep at it, it's why I found you, so there will follow. And the qaulity is what is making me stay. My first thought was the "guardian" watching the little girl was evidently unphased also. I most probably would have scooped my kid up by this point. Is it not obvious that at the very least the SCOTT series has clear allusions to the five stages of grief? I'm sure every series, having five videos, has some correlation to this pattern in some way, but we clearly see that in Scott 01, he's convinced he's still on the team, he's in denial, he's still coaching- in the second? He's angry. He's frustrated, shouting, demanding, he's upset. This is anger, the second stage. Then, Scott 03 and 04. Scott 03 seems like denial again, but when he mentions the "deal the head manager can't refuse" it clearly shows he's attempting to bargain. Scott 04 once again seems like denial, but shines in meaning in the end, where he's clearly crying. Depression. Something tells me, though, what makes the fifth video so terrible, is that it isn't the final stage, acceptance. Because Scott probably didn't just accept the reality. Stuck in the past much like Given the fact that he was clearly losing himself through grief, saying he "had nothing against" the head manager implying what he was going to propose may seem personal, the alternative context an "irrefusable" offer could be taken in here, the word "DEATH" in Scott 04, it's likely the offer in question was to have him back on the team or he'd kill someone close to the head manager. This probably ended up happening in Scott 05, and as such would probably be too gratuitous to show. It's also possible these aren't in order (after all depression comes before bargaining usally) and it's entirely possible that Scott 04 is the aftermath of Scott 05 given the heavy death symbolism and, even more importantly, the bloody hands.

I honestly HIGHLY prefer the way y’all defined an ARG. I personally hate people who merely call ARGs merely a game, yes even though game is what the g stands for. ARGs are a form of unfiction which rule number 1 for ARGs being “it’s not just a game” I personally call ARGs “interactive fiction” but different from video games, movies, and such. Heck ARGs have been used as marketing for other pieces of fiction like Halo 2.
