Kundan Raj Dehingia how can you have a particular best industry? Each firm will have a specialty or strength possibly in a particular “industry” as you call it and in addition to this it’s hard to put a finger on this due to the sheer momentum of many factors across the board

BlackRock aren't actually a PE firm. They're the largest asset manager and do offer investments in PE but they're not a PE firm. Largest PE firm is Blackstone.

Colin B. There isn’t one singular line of business in an ib, pe or hf and each lob needs particular traits etc. E.g your numerical skills to be in sales won’t have to be as great as someone applying to be a quant. Same applies to probably persuasion, confidence and communicative abilities may not need to be as strong for a quant or someone in arbitrage in comparison to someone in sales.
