I would be glad to share my experience about deactivation of pan card of our pvt. Ltd. Co., which i had applied for deactivation for more then a year. But it was not canceled, thereafter i watched Mr. Sudesh kumar video and even called him for his guidance & help. Sir my father have given a pan card for correction 10 yrs ago....but we haven't seen that the pan card is not corrected but new pan is generated and dad throw that old pan card. First of all this is wrong way to make a new pan if in old pan date of birth etc. Are not correct.

as per my experience, your old pan is a valid pan as would have filed tax returns , linked in bank accounts, aadhar card and may be demat account also. hence, surrender new pan card, just file the application with Income tax officer and leave it them. i am assuming you have not open new bank account or nor used new pan anywhere else. don't bother to change your details in old pan for at least 3 month. because if you file applicaiton now to update correct data in pan. it will clash with new pan. hence wait and watch
