Excellent info!! I really never heard of prolapse until I started having hypertonic pelvic floor. I'm seeing a PT weekly and recently I had a really bad flare that sent me to the doctor thinking I had a uti, even though all cultures are negative, so I started doing your pelvic release videos and it got me feeling 90% better over a few days of doing them! I give God all the glory and thank Him for you supplying all this info to help many people get their lives back again. God bless you and I will continue to do those stretches daily and look out for more helpful videos like this 💚

Since I started this I can go about 2 days feeling awesome, then symptoms come back because I tightened back up but at least I know I'm on the right track now. I will continue to do these stretches, and practice relaxation, it definitely helps!

Wonderful, informative video. I grew up in the 1950s when young girls were made to wear girdles if they had any belly at all! I've never had children but did develop a cystocele in my 60s. I'm sure it started with that girdle! I'm so glad that young women now have access to all of this information and that it is being talked about so openly. Thanks for all of your great work and videos.

I am a women's health physiotherapist and i enjoy watching your videos because they are clear and simple .... the reason for the increase in women's incidence of pelvic organ prolaps compared to men is due to the increase in normal laxety during the period of the menstrual cycle
@vibrantpelvichealth2 жыл бұрын
Yes, female pelvic anatomy and our natural hormone fluctuations during the menstrual cycle (and also moving into perimenopause/menopause) are two reasons for women's higher incidence of prolapse, regardless of pregnancy and/or childbirth! There are so many reasons people can develop a pelvic organ shift, and so much info I would've liked to have covered in this video, but I tried to keep it short and simple with a few key "touchpoints" for prevention. Thank you for watching!

Can stem cell therapy help with this. Informative video btw 👍🏽
@vibrantpelvichealth Жыл бұрын
Stem cell therapy's effectiveness for treating pelvic organ prolapse is not firmly established. While it's being researched for tissue regeneration, including pelvic floor tissues, more studies are needed to confirm its safety and long-term benefits. Currently, conservative treatments like pelvic floor therapy, lifestyle adjustments, and pessaries are the primary approaches for prolapse. In severe cases, surgery may be an option. To explore stem cell therapy, consult a specialist in pelvic floor disorders and stay updated on medical research developments. ~Vibrant Support

At times, it is better to have something demonstrated on a real human body. It has nothing to do with professionalism! Quit using professionalism to disguise your own discomfort with certain topics. Also, you can no longer control others with the fear of professionalism! Hi Dr Bri, This is in regard to a friend of mine who is postpartum 8 months after the first baby who has developed a mild cystocele and minimal rectocele… She had a normal delivery without an episiotomy in lithotomy position…She didn’t focus much on pelvic floor strengthening yet and now is ready to do anything to make her pelvis go back to prepregnancy state.. With the right guidance and therapy is it possible to reverse it? Thank you in advance
@vibrantpelvichealth2 жыл бұрын

I’m have prolapse bladder and uterus and was told I need a hysterectomy and a bladder lift. Is there anything can be done without surgery.
@vibrantpelvichealth2 жыл бұрын
Absolutely! There's a LOT you can do, especially if your prolapse is mild to moderate. If it's severe -- protruding outside of your vagina -- then surgery might be your best option. But if it's mild to moderate then I encourage you to explore conservative options first. Read my free prolapse guide carefully, there's lots of great info in there for you: www.vibrantpelvichealth.com/guide-to-prolapse

I wear a Serola belt due to hypermobility. Could that be pinching my pelvis in a negative way?
@vibrantpelvichealth2 жыл бұрын
If it's placed properly (down around your pelvic bones) then it shouldn't be pinching your pelvis in a negative way. The info shared in this video is more about things that are pinching around the waistline and causing pressure shifts downward. Your Serola belt shouldn't be an issue in the same way as a corset, or waist trainer, or tight high-waisted pants would be.
