When king david committed adultery why does it say he was a man after God's own heart, seeing that they were to be stoned and he was sinning

Do you think that the group behaviour was wrong also for self righteousness and judgemental while hiding their own sins and gossiping, not shepherding them. Not hearing from any of them and they were just not like that but not from fellowship I wish

This is not the confession of the Bible. All sins have public consequence. It cuts us off from God and manifests the works of the devil! David was fully aware of his sin and was in an agony pleading, take not thy Holy Spirit from me! David knew his confession would be public! It was the way confession was made! There is great resistance to this because of the guilt of minister's! Jesus said they will not come to the light lest their deeds are reproved! Nothing has changed!

That's true. Nathan made David's sin known to him by the word of Hod and David confessed. I noticed no one brought up Peter along with Ananias and Saphira neither did they bring up Achan and his confession before the congregation. Also, Matthew 18 in totality was eliminated from the discussion. What is happening to the church of Christ?

@@dandqproductions1 The Church of Christ I attend understands that we can bring a reproach on the Church and we make confessions for public sins ..... saying what the thing is that I've done just like they did in Nehemiah 5:7, 9:2 and Leviticus 5:5. Hopefully the leaders never have to come to me and force anything out of me like they did to Ananias and Sapphira or Achan who had the opportunity to confess but instead was directly exposed and by that time, it was too late. Joshua 7:25 "Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day."....... my actions can trouble the Church. Joshua 22:20 Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? We will be exposed, even if it is not until Judgement Day so let's not be like Achan and confess when it's too late...because The same scriptures that tell us to make a confession to a person would be the same scriptures I use if I need to make a confession to the body... (the Church)..
