What Is "RealShatter" ? A before-and-after comparison.

This mechanic has been patched to increase the minimum number of fragments. Its still an overall nerf for most guns, but you usually won't get only 1-2 fragments anymore.

One change no one is talking about is the german 13mm IAI belts no longer being tracers. The tracer belts are inert rounds and useless. The iai belts are stealth. This change was never mentioned or documented but as a german main my favorite machine gun was made far harder to use

Pretty realistic having an explosive shell designed to bring down aircraft hit an aircraft and turn into two pieces of metal

Gaijin noticed planes not being as frustrating as tanks because of the lack of volumetric, so they decided to fix it by making planes agonizing to play too.

i didn't see them talk about realshitter in their roadmap blogs, so this could be in the game for a while or forever like volumetric.

I have confirmation from the snail that the patch on 7/14/23 to boost 20mm cannon damage simply increased the maximum number of fragments.

I personally think the idea itself isn't bad its just poorly implemented and needs to be heavily toned down, perhaps a solution could be when say you have less fragments said pieces could be bigger and do more damage to the parts of the aircraft it hits, where as when you have more fragments each piece does less damage but its more spreadout and more likely to hit something vital. I do like the idea of a single he shot not being able to take down an aircraft cause enables the potential for a counter and in a a more captivating dogfight. I prefer that to just one-hit killing everything, but then again in its current state RealShatter is going way to far down this road, though I do think the snail has the right idea they just need to tone it down
