I got the resin out down over my paving for that very reason. It was expensive but honestly the best thing I did. It really looks good and no maintenance!

I love everything about this including its permability by water. Would be perfect for a not too large area with sitting bench and large stepping pavers in my yard. I wonder if this will ever get to the US?

I’ve been researching that exact question. My thought was water would get in cracks and freeze which would break the coating up. But several companies state they are excellent choices for extreme cold. And are supposed to hold up better in winter than asphalt and concrete.

It handles it just fine! Resin bound is permeable with open pores throughout which allows freezing water to be released.
