My whole Circuit Theory paper which i studied for 6 months is completed in just 20 mins now, wow. Fabulous I say. After 6 years I came to know the difference between P=V*I and P=i^2*R. If I had a person like you in my UG days I would have been in a position which I can’t imagine now.

Potential divider caculated output voltage is wrong, as you said if 1k as top and 3k as bottom resistor the output will be 3V not 5V when the input is 12V.

Explanation is good. Yet it would be a good idea to use a board and a marker pen or something to give a written (drawing)explanation. Audio visual potential should be tapped to the maximum for laymen to understand easily.

Your calculation is wrong sir , 100mA = 0.1 A so R = 12/0.1 = 120 ohm
