Loved to hear that the RLcraft villager mechanic is being given a thought. The newer vanilla are way too op, but the old one could definitely get some QoL. Great video, I will probably wait some more to play Dregora, I prefer to wait this "beta" state of game/modpacks, but I'm looking forward to it! i've been playing this modpack pretty much from the moment you put it out there, and at first i thought it was hard, but then i figured that, 'nah it just hates me, like "spawning a charged blight creeper just outside my base that i built myself" kind of hates me'. thank goodness that i saw it before it saw me...😰

Biomes O' Plenty is an amazing biome mod, but throughout the updates of the mod to the latest minecraft version, there are biomes which the dev removed and some content like the flower island, the gemstone you looked at, the biome finder, and terrariums.

52:03 YES, please add a way to reroll villagers or something. There're so many enchantments in RLCraft that it's nearly impossible to find the one you need. Maybe for some people spending 20 hours looking for villages is peak gameplay, but personally I hate it.

biggest thing I want out of new versions of minecraft is definitely the larger height limit and depth of the underground (especially the underground). But I'm sure that would be impossible/extremely difficult to port

Legit my first spawn on downloading the modpack was at the bottom of the Crystal abyss next to a tier 5 dragon den. You can prolly guess what happened in the next 3 seconds

meanwhile me and my brother is currently thriving in dregora, We restarted like 4 times until we got a pretty good spawn (no villages or dungeons nearby because I prefer having a solid foundation that you get by progressing normally by gathering flint and making a hatchet and all the good stuff). We currently got full advanced prot dragon armor and some crazy legendary swords as we call them (basically found weapons with crazy op enchants and curses in ruined cities where parasites spawn and shit). The swords give tons of buffs and like 4 extra rows of hearts its insane.

Is there any documentation on late game dregora lore? I have no clue how to enter the brutal tower, what the weird dimension below it is etc. I checked the topographer's book but didn't really help. (thanks for sussyberians, rerolling librarians is so much fun now :)))))))

The place below is the "Underneath" dimension I believe. And yeah with the brutal towers I think I found a couple but they have no entrance and if I break through the walls of the tower there's just bedrock behind it. Under the blocks on the roof I think I found purple bedrock. The brutal merchants sell something that removes "theta barriers" but you need brutal coins for those in the first place. Some lore explanation videos would be nice for sure.

@@lanceseaman88 There's actually a bridge leading in from the ring that surrounds the hole in which the brutal tower is located, do a lap around and the bridge should be relatively obvious now you know what to look for :) Also Within the tower keep an eye out for obsidian as those mark entrances to next levels (if you mine through it) 👍

Is brutal tower the giant hole you find in the biome with grey fog and flesh floors with monsters that have sentient weapons? There is a dimension underneath the hole but I'm not sure if the hole itself is the brutal tower

Distant horizon would be cool or physic mods but i know for a fact that its impossible to backport those mods anyways still dregora rlcraft would look insanely good if i could see from afar hopefully someone makes its possible but unfortunetly 1.12.2 gets hated on so much and i dont know why

@@jmz6518 actually there's a very early alpha version of Distant Horizons for 1.12 that never saw the light of day. It's possible, just difficult. Physics mods would likely break gameplay. They're cool but in terms of gameplay functionality they suck and break too many other mods and mechanics.

Ive been trying to play on LAN with my brother, and it always was crashing after a little while. We both got good computers so ig its just the early state of the mod. Really awesome mod, loved RLCraft but im gonna wait until some things get patched

@ not completely sure, we tried a couple times right after it was released and a few days after that but still nothing. We both ran 7gb which is within the 6-8 workload or whatever so dunno. Sometimes the memory got too much on the LAN world, and others it just got too laggy to play. Mind you we both got good enough players to run any big mod pack quite well

i think that the only differnces between minecraft virsions that cant relly be made by mods are 1.9 the combat update (oviously the complete overhall of combat) and 1.14 the village and pillage update (villager changes) other than those two features you should be able to backport

When you finish, you are experienced RLCraft player with a lot of cool hats! Well, most useful info I personally found in comments on Reddit and in 100 days in RLCraft videos on youtube.
