For those in the comments, valuation is an "estimate", it's up to investors to decide how much they want to pay and it's up the company to decide wether or not to go public. The higher the oil prices the higher the valuation. For those wanting Sandi's oil to come to zero, the world right now has limited oil production spare capacity. Saudi Arabia's oil production represents around 13% out of the world's production of oil (comparable to the US, and Russia). Any disruptions in production means everything is going to be expensive for consumers (anything made of plastics or anything petrochemical based is going to be expensive). For those talking about oil production decline, You know what is ironic. Countries whose oil production peaked, their oil fields matured, and own less reserves didn't stop producing oil until now. Oil production doesn't stop suddenly in conventional oil fields. However, there is a decline trend that can be spotted if a country's production numbers started to go down which is not the case right now. You can stop the decline by production enhancement technologies or drilling in new locations.

Aramco doesn't need to list itself on public exchanges because they are already raking in cash. The reason they are listing just 5% is so that they will have to disclose their reserves as part of going public. They will probably have a big surprise for everyone about how vast their reserve is.

The fact that America is set to be the largest oil producer in the world in 2019 (maybe it already is) will put continuous production on oil prices going forward so forget the days of $120/barrel. Electric cars gainjng wide adoption in next 10 years is another risk to oil prices.

Aramco will face great adversity in the comes days. This is why they are trying to get anything they can while they can. Oil prices may have risen but that was artificially done to create the right considerations to bring in investors to cover some to all of their expected loses. Saudi Arabia will crumble completely the day oil is no longer a hot commodity and that day is fast approaching. Anyone wanting to know why no one takes "global warming" seriously only has to look as far as Saudi Arabia. Esau has bigger problems to worry about though. It is the 399th year of the 400 year captivity. The End of the Gentiles is almost on the door step. Esau is trying to prepare.
@someone-wi4xl6 жыл бұрын
Sean Regehr Thankfully we are building a 200 billion solar energy mega-project to be completed in 2030 It will provide more than enough energy (200 giga watt) we will not depend on oil anymore for energy Also Saudi Arabia and UAE already own a good percentage of Tesla company .. and generally committing hard on electric cars In fact Dubai is the first city in the world to have all electric car taxis And one note The Arabians are descendants of Ishmael not Esau
@seanregehr49216 жыл бұрын
someone ~ They are Esau. Period. That is not even a debate. You should know the True living God has given Esau's land to His chosen people. From Lebanon to the river, the river Euphrates to the sea and the farthest coasts thereof. Basically the entire 'boot' of the so called "middle east" but really the "far east of Ethiopia/Africa". That is in addition to the land of Israel. Those that say they are Israel are not but the synagogue of "satan", the Hebrew word for adversary, opposing the True living God. It's gonna be tough to complete much of anything when they have to pack up and leave. God's never lied and everything he has spoken has come to pass exactly as He said it would.
