I downloaded my first game from y'all now my quest 2 starts up slow, also my quest too when I put it in sleep mode you know by tapping the power button one time and I'm not running a game I'm at the main menu when I go to put in sleep mode I take the headset off put the controllers down. Then when I pick the controllers up put the headset back on tap the power button again I just get a black screen with lights on it but nothing loads up. So please tell me if I'm doing something wrong but as far as I can tell this side quest thing has screwed up my quest. I'm going to have to reboot my whole entire quest now.

I honestly think that EverQuest (Project 1999 version) would be incredible to play in VR. If the weapon speed got reworked into VR weight so it actually takes you a certain amount of time to swing a weapon based on its weight instead of just waiting and waiting 5 seconds to auto attack, and obviously remove the chance to miss with your attacks, the atmosphere of the game, and scale, would make for an awesome gaming experience. And one that would get you fit, too. Of course it'd be a massive undertaking, as there are many small mechanics that would be difficult to port over to VR, such as characters speaking different languages (AI voice changer LOL?) and learning from eachother. But to me, the low geometry, dark and dangerous zones heavily relying on fog effects, would make for a very intense multiplayer experience. Adding in new stuff like campfires and tents players can put down and honestly I'd rather play that than anything else currently out, even the new MMO Zenith.

I hate how other gamers say VR is lame. Tbh some games suck depending who you are as a gamer. But I like my VR I like moving. I wish to play super Mario games like 64 or super Mario worlds in VR lol I know that sounds a little stupid but as a kid I dreamed I'm in first person Mario jumping and flying in the game with its exact layouts. Hope it happens I think that's what will make VR good is being able to play old school games from PS2 to super Nintendo

Hey Henrique! Using SideQuest is absolutely safe for your headset. SideQuest has frequently collaborated with Meta/Oculus and we even worked together to develop App Lab. Mark Zuckerberg himself openly supports sideloading. During Meta Connect we were explicitly mentioned multiple times as a platform for developers to build their communities. Don't fret and enjoy SideQuesting!

Sadly Apple don't allow sideloading on to an Android device such as Quest, and so far we don't see things changing on the Apple side in the immediate future. But you can still access Sidequest from your iPad to download App Lab games if you go to applab.games from your browser!
