You need to learn history. Sikhism began with Guru Nanak Dev Ji. During his time, no Sikh was involved in any armed war. Both Muslims and Hindus became followers of Guru Nanak, leading to the growth of Sikhism. And this continued until Guru Gobind Singh ji. The concept of "one son" being dedicated to the Sikh cause emerged much later, during the time of Banda Singh Bahadur. By then, Sikhism was already an established religion, not in its initial stages. This practice arose because Sikhs had earned a strong reputation among the general populace, and many people sought to associate themselves with Sikhism, as it was considered an honor. In the video, he correctly mentions that Sikhs were being attacked by both Pahadi Rajas (Hindus) and Mughal rulers (Muslims), although for different reasons. The Mughals attacked because Sikhs were resisting the forced conversion of society to Islam by Mughals. The Pahadi Rajas attacked because they were threatened by the growing popularity of the Sikh Gurus and feared losing their control in the future. Just count the battles Guru Gobind Singh Ji fought against the Mughals, Pahadi Rajas, and the combined forces of Mughals - Pahadi Rajas. You will get your answer and a better understanding of the role of Hindu rulers during that time.

@@cj_jolly6211 the argument here isn't about the timeline of when hindu sons joined khalsa but if they did or not. I your reply there are 2 very clear arguments: 1. There were many Muslims in the army of Sikhs and that doesn't equate the relationship of hindu- sikh and muslim -sikh because it shows the political function but not the spiritual. Eg: Rajputana Kings fought against each other and many had muslim soldiers. 2. Yes I accept that Pahadi Rajas fought against the Sikhs but again those were political battles but not based on the faith unless the cruelty of Wazir Khan which was based of the hate towards the faith. So, when he says the Hindus were killing Sikhs it changes the entire narrative as if it was some religious persecution. I hope, I've made my point clear.
