Yes, Marcelito is in a class all by himself. It was such a privilege for me to be in that audience for three of his four AGT performances. Also to meet with him and his precious wife Joan several times was a blessing, along with pictures and memories. Seeing him live on the national stage was amazing. He will always be at the top of my list. ❤️

Simon predicted his massive career, then the pandemic shut all of that down, fast forward to this year 2022, Marcelito has been performing to literally sold-out shows for 20 shows here in the USA so far, 2 more to go, then he goes for a Canada tour, an Australian tour, then back here again to the US for another tour!! I have been fortunate to have been to 2 of his shows so far.

He had already blown the judges minds with "The Prayer" on his first audition. Coincidentally, neither Marcelito or Angelina Jordan would agree to sign with Simon's record company. If you want some theories about what happened to Marcelito on that show, see the videos a reactor named John Master Lee made on the subject 2 years ago on his "React To The World" channel. He shows some really strange stuff by examining certain details of footage of the judges.

Schnell, Simon Cowell picked that song and then criticized him on the air. But worse, Simon pushed him down to 4th place in the finals behind an Asian Tumbling Group. What do you think? I can guess what Simon had against him. Not signing perhaps? The important thing to know is what he did to Marcelito's finishing place in the championship. Did you see the crowd? I have not watched AGT since . . . By the way, Marcelito has an album in which he double-recorded a large number of duets overlapping both parts for Hit songs that go back to the 60's. Go to his channel and find it. It is astounding. The Prayer is just gorgeous. I think his multiple voices are still outstanding and fun to hear. BTW, he just finished his American Concert Tour. Good for Marcelito. There is no one like him. Cheers.

Observed the Shirt wore by Simon in this Semi- Finals then look at the Shirts He wears on the Finals they are the same so look at the dress of Heidi today's semi-finals and then the dress She wears on the Finals that 2019 AGT SEASON became Controversial becsuse of rhe manipulation made by Dimon Cowel to Marcelito and yhe Audience inside the Show on the Finals got crazy and they promised to boycott AGT's next SEASON because of Simon's Scam! AGT earned hundreds of millions of money because of Marcelito that's why millions of new fans of Marcelito outraged by Simon manipulation SIMON didn't allow Marcelito to choose a song he will use on the Finals Marcelito revealed it when He was interviewed but when realized He will be sued in Court because of what he disclosed to the public, He then deleted the video to avoid lawsuit.

With him switching from soprano to tenor, I wonder if this might shorten his career. It’s not like working his way up to those notes, but having to go from tenor to soprano in an instant. I just think his voice will not last as long as he would want it to. He has an awesome tenor voice, and the rest to me is just something different to get him noticed. Just my opinion, but I think he needs to stay as a tenor and forgo the rest. We need more great tenors. We do not need that ACT, if you know what I mean. Jackie Evancho made it HUGE as a classical crossover singer. She tries to go pop, but has that classical voice. She is now stuck not knowing where she belongs. It runs in the family. She needs to stay a classical singer and stop all the pop nonsense. She made it as the youngest solo artist to go platinum as a classical singer, beating out the legend Michael Jackson. If that does not give her a clue, nothing will. So this man here needs to stay a true tenor and be one of the greats in the future.

The winner of that season is an acrobat dancers from india... Simon favored them over marcelito they just used marcelito for marketing strategy when marcelito werent in that competituon their views are quite bit low but with marcelito it sky rocketed becoz of massive filipinos fan base....after that competition some of filipinos criticize simon and showed no more interest in that show😊😊😊😊

Kevin Neal I must agree with Scott below, if he stayed with one voice it would have been so much impressive. Talented, yes he is. Fantastic voice but to change voices within one song for me is more like a gimmick that music. He is a wonderful man, sweet family but his changing like that detracts from the song, at least to me it does.

the ability to switch register impeccably requires considerable skill. I would say talent is the correct description rather than gimmickry which is more like 'sleight of hands' or 'magic.' but then again it's just an opinion. we can all call it anything we want.

Simon is bias. Marcelito was the clear winner but Simon manipulated the outcome, that's all there is to that. That's why I've always disliked Simon's arrogance and bossy demeanor like he's got to be pleased first and foremost. The rest of the panelist always have to 'check up' on him and see if they got his approval. At least he said Marcelito has a massive career.

You are so right in everything you say. I remember Cowell disparagingly asking Marcelito after his first performance as to whether he had anything to bring to the table besides the `gimmick` of switching voices !! He then apparently got him to sing a song that had himself picked for him, and then complained after he sang it, that he needed to be more original in his song choices !! The other panelists are mere puppets to Cowell, and dare not cross him as he pays them a fat check for being there.

I'll be honest. I was rolling my eyes after the fourth range/persona shift. It went from interesting to gimmicky. I think if he stuck to a primary voice (I think his tenor is better) he'd be that much more impressive. Don't know how the season turned out for him. I WILL say that Simon is rarely wrong.
