I had this game on the PlayStation and barely ever played it. I regret it soo much. The PlayStation restarted and we lost all of our games on it, including Slime Rancher. It was such a cute game and I feel bad for almost never playing it. So yea theres that story. Nevertheless, it was an amazing game and more people should know about it 😅

Saw this game on the Steam store and looked at reviews. I noticed something really bizarre. Just about every other review mentioned how the game cured depression, replaced therapy, replaced anti-depressants, made them happy, stopped them from crying. Really fucking weird. It's like watching a herd of sheep create a fad right before my eyes. Either all those comments come from the developers or one person mentioned the depression thing somewhere and it caused a chain reaction of folks who can't think for themselves, parroting each other. Sure, maybe the game does help with depression... but literally every game does that. It's the whole point of games; escapism. So why is it that THIS game is the one everyone mentions their mental health problems? Did they market this game as a mental health aid? What the fuck is going on?
