Dr. Shahid Hussain is PhD in Mass Communication and is serving as Assistant Professor in a Public Sector University, situated in Islamabad, Pakistan. He is carrying about 11 years of teaching and research experience at the University level. He has published many research papers in national and international research journals of repute.
He has produced books on Mass Communication as well as contributed chapters. He is also attached with many national universities as member of committees of courses and as subject expert.
He also managed Public Relations of national organizations as well as consults many organizations in media management. He has also served as Editor of Newsletters and Journals. He has achieved a number of awards and honors during his professional career. He also contributes articles to newspapers especially on development and social issues.

Sir i have done mphil in media studies ..currently associated with mainstream & digital channels as an anchor ..Your lectures are amazing .Sir kindly tell me...Time limit will define the difference between Hard & Soft news ?.(For Example : Kisi cricketer ki shaadi ki news di jayee lekin kuch dino bhd .Tu kyaa yeh hard news hogi yaa soft ? Bcz shaadi ki actual dates mein news nahe di gai lekin mainstream pr jb news di gai tu tb tu breaking news thi ..!! So kindly clear this confusion & answer my Question.THANKS !
