There are actually five Beta Lobbies, Beta Lobby D can be accessed by walking through the right door of Beta Lobby C, and Beta Lobby E can be accessed by walking through the RIGHT door in the Castle Grounds. It may look like Beta Lobby A, but the levels are slightly different, and the stars count as different.

B3313 is just a hack resembling beta mario 64, with ai core that doesnt work properly, faceless mario, upside down cup toad jumpscare, one way door, similiar levels that feel somethings wrong, one way door, RNG, unpredictable areas and a damn ending that mario can't get out of the damn "personalization" or "personalisation".

Head up for those few who use emulators on mobile device. you'll likely need either M64plus AE emulator or RetroArch emulator with the ParallelN64 core installed for it to run B3313 on mobile emulator. Most other emulators on mobile are unable to run B3313 at least for the latest version of the romhack.

Sorry the whole idea of this video goes against the devs vision, it's like having a guide on how to approach Undertale, it spoils the whole reason the game exists. The first 15 min of B3313 is designed to fool people into thinking it is a beta ,just to spiral into insanity/fever dream. That is why only blind playthroughs are really fun to watch.

I played B3313 for the first time technically yesterday since it's almost 1 AM for me right now and I love it! I actually found the 4th Floor by accident at the end of my stream! There was one thing that I couldn't let go, though. You see, early on when I started playing I had found the Toad Catacombs and I didn't trust the feel of it and it didn't seem like there was anything to do there. A few minutes later, I looked at the red stars on the star counter and saw... Toad Catacombs... I haven't found it again since

There are definitely a few, but for the most part you kind of know when they're coming so they're not really jump scares so much as they are just kinda spooky vibe? Definitely present though. I don't really like jump scares either but I didn't mind these.

They call random functions within the game or can just straight up crash the game. For example, the yellow switch COULD make it to where Mario doesn't have his hat. If you find it in a level and grab a star to exit, you lose the hat again until you press the switch again and get something different. Sometimes a silver coin may just make a funny noise. Stuff like that.

I got it all set up with the parallel launcher and everything but the star tracker isn't showing up, not really sure what to do. how do you get the star tracker to show up?

It should just automatically start when you boot the ROM. I know sometimes I did have to relaunch it? Sometimes it likes showing up on my second monitor if you have multiple displays too. I don't think there are any settings to adjust. Will test, but let me know if you figure it out!

@@BrettWils I found the fix and replied with what i did and my comment was removed cause i had a link, I hit the Play Now button on Romhacking and it finally showed up though now i'm noticing it isn't displaying all of them properly, it says "The hack author has not provided a star layout for this hack. This layout will show unattainable stars and may be missing some others." not sure what to do now.

@@BrettWils i completely forgot to come back here and say how i fully fixed it. turns out even when i launched it via the play now button i had already downloaded and patched a copy manually so it wasn't showing up properly. i deleted my z64 and hit the play now button to let the website patch things proper with a fresh install and it all works properly.

even when im just returning for star collecting in this game i think you should've mentioned the day and night cycle as players at night have a chance to enter lobby.z64 and have to go through wf.z64 for its red star,its how some runs have gone for me even on first playthroughs,so depending on the clock of the system,things can change here and there and a few stars might only need to be accesed during specific hours,still doesnt change the bad luck i get whenever im just trying to enter the castle and i end up in the biggest reference to sm64.z64 in the history of mario rom hacks

The one thing I was taught on stream was vanilla basement and not getting fire sprited? If I remember right it’s just going in, going back out, and going in again. So like, there are ways around it but with this game, who knows but Chris, man
