One recall of event happened 1year ago I marathoned this ride from 17:40 to 20:00 riding 7 times On the last ride, I rode ROW 1 with the train almost filled with students in same school I know. I kept my hands up for 3 minutes and some middle-seat rider students said to me "Are You Crazy?" and even one science teacher ridden this thing with students surprised when I say I marathoned this and ridden 7 times.(average students rode 2~3 times that day) When I stayed at the hotel I felt like riding T Express because I rode T Express over 10 kms in a day. And I've gotten sore throat while riding this because of air pollution

Seriously impressed by the wide variety of shots for this video. Asian coaster footage is comparatively much harder to find, but you managed to get nerdy construction footage of T-Express! I would really love a new Intamin woodie. Considering Intamin is now going for even bolder layouts (Walibi Belgium 2021 is my fav example of this), a new Prefab Woodie to compete with RMC designs would be a fascinating prospect! I also do know for a fact Intamin does offer LSM launches for this type of coaster too...

Some cool facts about this thing 0. RMC is co-manufacturer of this(Intamin-RMC) 1. If you board the train from 18:00~19:00 you can ride twice without taking off(~3/14) 2. When the temperature is 35+°C There's NO WAIT 3. This thing has special fastpass:worth 30000 won and 2 fastpasses+rider cam video 4. The train has light bulbs, so it looks more menacing at night 5.Its highest wait time ever was 300 minutes. 6. Total queue line length is 2km when it is full. And I added subs, would you use my Korean sub in this vid?

YESSS I LOVE this one, my number 1 ride! (Though I honestly haven't ridden too much but still) It might not be as consistently fast-paced as say El Toro but I think the really lengthy ride (which makes it feel more like a 'journey' of sorts), incredible setting and (I assume) comparable airtime deserve a lot of praise. I'd seriously be interested to see more of these around. It's a shame we probably don't see more of these because RMCs seem much more marketable, having more dynamic layouts and almost equally smooth ride experiences for a cheaper price. But if a new one were to be made, it'd rocket to the top of a lot of enthusiasts' favorite wood coaster lists for sure.

It is the cost. They cost as much as steel coasters, and you still have to do a bit of maintenance on them regardless of how much stronger the wood is. I heard magic mountain was going to get a prefab at some point 😳

After watching ElToroRyan's video on Intamin pre-fabricated wood coasters, I can see why parks don't really want to build one. For one, the costs are more extremely expensive than we think they are. Wood coasters are typically much cheaper than steel coasters, because wood is a cheaper material than steel, and because wood is not prefabricated, it doesn't drive up costs that much. But prefabrication is so much more expensive, since you're pretty much building the wood version of a steel coaster. For example, Thunderhead at Dollywood from GCI was only $7 million in 2004, which is about $9.5 million in 2020. Whereas you said that T Express is 36 billion KRW in 2008, but now over $50 million in 2020 (OMG). Plus, the maintenance is not as easy as some people might seem. He stated that being more proactive to maintain Intamin's prefab wood coaster model is going to lessen those maintenance nightmares than neglecting the track and structure altogether when parks are more reactive to fix an issue right away, like what happened to Colossos in 2016. El Toro, however, has the Great Adventure maintenance team create and fabricate their own track in the same way and design that the fabricators that Intamin contracts to build the track use, which is very expensive to ship overseas than in a closer European country. So they can replace the track much easier and are more proactive than if the prefabricated wood is maintained reactively.

One of my favorite coasters of all time!! I gotta say El Toro still has a better first drop (despite this being 1 degree steeper), but once the Balder section starts after the midcourse this ride is pure bliss to the very end!! I wish parks would invest in more of these Intamin prefabs. They are my favorite coasters, above even RMC's!!

I have to disagree. I think T Express is slightly better all the way around than El Toro. Probably my favorite wooden coaster at this point. I have to try out the Coaster in Heide Park Germany and Zadra in Poland to see how they compare.
@Tortidis9874 жыл бұрын
@@mforce3102 Definitely pure bliss the whole ride, but I'm so used to El Toro's first drop (and first two camelbacks) that t express first half felt slightly underwhelming in comparison (still amazing though). @james krten I like t express more than toro overall too, and I'm dying to ride the other prefabs (especially colossos) and zadra as well!!

I love this model but it gets repetitive because all they can do is banked turns and airtime hills. Don't get me wrong, I love airtime hills and banked turns but I wish intamin would update this model and try to add inversions or other elements. Otherwise they just have out and back layouts with mostly airtime or the balder layout with a airtime turn pattern layout.

It would be very cool to see an updated model. As you've said, things have changed sine the debut of T-Express! :)
