Many data analysis methods can be performed with R. One of the most widely used of these methods is T-TEST analysis.
T-test is a statistical test used to compare means between two groups. It is especially used to determine whether the differences between groups are significant. There are two main types of t-tests:
1. Independent samples t-test:
It is used to compare the averages of two different groups. For example, comparing the results of two different treatment groups.
2. Paired Samples t-test:
It is used to compare measurements of the same group at two different time points. For example, comparing the blood pressure values of a group of people before and after treatment with a drug.
T-test results usually provide a p-value. This p-value helps determine whether the difference between groups is random. If the p-value is less than a certain threshold value (usually 0.05), the difference is considered statistically significant.
