The madhab thing is really not scary. As long as you follow the Quran Then the Prophet (Pbuh) words THEN your madhab. Anything from the madhab doesn't follow our Quran or Prophet saying should not be taken .

Muslims should adhere to the Qur'an and Sunnah, and not separate Allah Almighty said "Do not separate" (42:12). Nowadays in the Ummah there are divisions into -ism, The difference of "aqeeda" Concentrating on aqeeda and losing sight of the fact that this is already a division! The fact is that there are many similar divisions on the basis of aqida in parallel! Even if on the correct aqida - it is still stream! (and this is a serious situation) The question arises: which course is correct? - None! If to be Already in Islam! You don't need to create inside Islam separate direction with "correct understanding" Is it not enough that Allah then perfected the religion? "Today I have perfected your religion for you" (5:3) Direction to the Creator! and His Book And not to the understanding of a certain person (or group) If they follow the paths of their predecessors, what has Allah commanded? "Follow that which has been sent down to you from your Lord, and don't follow instead of Him .. ..the little thing you remember "(7:3) What did Allah Almighty command? "[Aqeem] your face to religion hanif" (30:30). The word "Hanif" root means inclination Inclination to the religion of Allah. (not to someone) "satellites call him to the path Say: the Way of Allah - is the Way. And I was commanded to submit to the Lord of the worlds." (6:71). Direction to Allah in religion! Only He decides: what is allowed and what is not. This is His religion Allah Almighty said 42:13 "Stand up for religion and do not separate in it" .. Allah chooses whomever He wills for Himself, and directs to Himself the one who turns to Him. 42:14 They split up only after knowledge appeared to them, coveting among themselves. And if there had not been before the Word from your Lord about the postponement until the appointed time, that would be decided between them. 42:15 Therefore, call for this and follow the straight path as you have been commanded. Do not indulge their desires and say: “I believed what Allah has revealed from the Book" 42:21 Or they have partners legalized for them in religion that what has Allah not allowed? 30:30. Turn your face to religion, hanif. ... This is the correct religion, but most people don't know 30:31. Munibina (Being Turned) to Him, fear Him, perform salat and do not be from [mushrikin], 30:32. among those who divided their religion and became sects, each of them rejoices in what they have. Turning to Allah Alone in religion While separation can mean inward orientation to group and then from it to Allah But it's like mediation And not "in Islam", but "sub-Islam" The stream can have their own conditions. As if "mini-religion" But There is Creator's conditions! not mediators as if seems from whom religion and rules go

this video is so good mashallah, we follow a madhab’s school which consists of living scholars which studied this and have the evidence, and scholars which are dead may allah have mercy upon them. so we dont just follow abu hanifah for example, we follow the whole line, which also consists of living scholars. anything wrong with what i said and what i do?

Okay I have a question for this topic, I hope I get an answer haha. I am a turkish student living in Germany and I visit the turkish mosque gathering here at nights with the youth to discuss certain topics from time to time alhamdulillah. My living imam is hanifi, my family is hanifi and therefore I am hanifi too. Anyway, most of my little knowledge I gather over these years is from the internet through videos and blogs like this. Out of my little knowledge 85% is from the internet, mostly englisj speaking scholars and 15% from my imam i visit from time to time. Now to the question, wich madhab am i when I mostly agree with internet scholars and, according to the internet scholars i can eat shrimps and other seafood, according to hanafi I cannot. Please tell me I can eat seafood, otherwise i do not really care wich madhab i am but i love seafood 😭

If you want to learn any madhab you can, there's no problem in that. If you are well versed in a madhab and you also learn about some other madhab you can follow what is more near to Quran and sunnah.

I didnt get it , he days common people dont have mathhab but have mathhab of the scholar he askes , so at the end a commoner indeed have a mathhab ! Without really knowing the difference btw others so that he could choose , if I seek knowledge from different scholars with different mathhab what does that make me ?

If a person is common and he seek fatwa from an imam in his neighboor with different mathhab he can with no problem take his fatwa which can be said like that: a common's mathhab is the mathhab of his imam. So if ask an hanafi imam and you are Shafei'y or Hanbaly you take his fatwa. Notice that you are responsible for asking the right people. True scholars and imams with knowledge. In fact if we say that you insist on finding a fatwa from your mathhab it may be harder for you and the other mathhabs is easier which take us to the point that say that maybe the imam you ask knows both your mathhab and others but he choose what suits the situation better and make it easier for you. If any brother or sister have another explation please say it so we all learn something new.

It is recommended for a person to study the madhab that was given (or granted or born with) by his parents rather than following the fatwa "that he likes" . Because for a common person , he looks for easy quick and that thing or ruling which doesn't go against his nafs , So if he were to follow the scholar of his choice , I am sorry but then this deen will become Mess or play with kind of thing . Ibnu Abidin (R.A) was right but not your way of making us understand . Example :- triple talaq mas'alah , when a man gives talaq 3 times to his wife , his scholar of choice says your nikah is broken ! But to follow his nafs he goes to Ahle Hadith Scholars who gave him fatwa that his wife is not haram for her . Thus to fulfill his nafs he agrees with Ahle Hadith Scholar and stays with her wife . Isn't this the most common thing to laugh upon ??? What have we made our religion ???

I am sunni but I dont follow one particular Sheik, I get my info from Allah(SWT): the Quran. If a Sheikh or Mufti says something and backs it up with Quranic verses then I follow that.

Before following any scholar , do research whether he is right or on the wrong track ... But after u are convinced then u shouldn't tease him in every fatwa he gives , that tell me the references !!! He has got thousands of works to do , he gives fatwa to dozens of people everyday ... It is like you take medicine from the doctor ( whom u are convinced that he is not no.2 ) but u don't ask for references that from where he got this !!!

Not only talk about the topic but also recite the surah and give proper translation . Not the ones that simply say do this and do that . You're not supposed to follow people blindly. I go with Nouman Ali Khan, Mufti Menk, Sheikh Uthman Ibn Farooq, Ali Dawah and other Islamic channels. I dont choose one person to follow and that's it cause they can always be wrong.

Madhab mean school of thought it is more like a perspective of an Imam about the interpretation of a Hadith, need to remember Madhab is not a division.. As a common Muslim we can mix the fatwa from 4 madhab of 4 Imams as long as it still related to Al'Quran and Al'Hadith.
