Sir I have served in the forces. So have my parents. But I have seen many men in uniform taking leave on karvachauth whining to stay with their wives. Whereas us who were actually fasting did all the work from day till night. So strength has nothing. To do with gender. I have lifted 20Kgs while on my periods and having the worst cramps of my life. And this ignited men’s fury all the more. One one hand they didn’t allow you to behave like a lady and on the other hand if you exhibited strength that would hurt their ego. My parents were my standard for strength. I have seen whining and crying men in uniform. I have seen women made of steel. Not all men. Not all women.

Unfortunately parents are behind these women too who look at men to support them. Because this is what they were taught. Saare tyohar toh aadmiyon ke ird- gird ghoomte hain... be it karwa chauth, bhai dooj, rakshabandhan, ahoyi etc. Aurat ko bachpan se yahi training milti hai ki tumhe koi doosra kar ke dega... pehle maa baap, bhai phir pati aur phir beta. Lekin sach yeh bhi hai ki jin gharon mein pati kuch nahi karta uss ghar ki mahila hi ghar ka aadmi hoti hai. This is a phenomenon which is seen all over the world. The reasons are many in India. Single child, brought up lonely without siblings or other family members/working parents/too much money which leads to lack of enthusiasm to do something as everything is just bought with money/ parental pressure/no access to playgrounds, nature/ too much screen time etc etc last but not the least mental/psychiatric ailments are rampant. All mental illness might not be severe and need doctors but definitely it takes toll on overall personality. Both men and women face this challenge. It's more present in society than one thinks. Thats the reason alcohol and drugs are practiced , in all young people belonging to all stratas of society.

Even though it was for men, I would like to tell you that, no, we as women, we're supposed to be equally responsible for work, and no, we can not cry and stay at home because we are required to work too with just as much strength and in even worse situations. And the fact that men used to marry women who were unemployed because women were not given the rights to work and even today the women who are unemployed are often considered submissive (who can be very easily controlled and manipulated by the man and his family), and therefore men tend to choose them (and i do not mean to generalise at all but thats what is thought of unemployed women in general). And if we talk about today's scenario, sir, no working man plans on marrying an unemployed woman. Cannot agree on this. If a man likes a woman, he doesn't care much about her employment status. Women are not like this. Forget unemployed, they don't even marry who are considered doing lower jobs - like factory workers. They always look for those equal or higher to them. I rarely see women take social responsibility. Political equality is a political theory, it has nothing to do with literal sameness. It has to do with rights, opportunities, human value and fundamental human dignity. This political theory has been largely steered by women whi have sustained tremendous pressure on public institutions. The old idea of strength has actually made men crazy and spiritually numb and then many turn to organised religion, religious extremism or other forms of relgious or cult like philosophies like Andrew Tate's nonsense. Man's idea of strength has not evolved on 5800 years. The man has and still does rely on a woman's dependency to safeguard his privileges, without that much of the conveniences he enjoys will absolutely vanish. Like I have female cousins who have a huge lightings business, make turnover of 120crores per year and living with in-laws, anger issues in men, husband not satisfying in bed etc. are an absolute no-no for them. They are now married to german guys cz they just couldnt live with an Indian man.
