What is The ACL? Dave Duffy Explains

You hear of athletes damaging it all the time. It can have serious consequences for sporting careers. And if you’ve ever torn it, you’ll know its effect. But what is an ACL? And when you damage it, what’s happening inside the knee?

Hi Doctor, I had an ACL recon surgery a week ago using quad tendon graft. My surgeon didn't remove the torn ACL during the reconstruction and therefore the graft fixation was few mm away from original ACL. Could you please share your thought on the rationale behind that? Will it cause any issues in future?
