What is the Arcana Divine Domain? Clerics in Dungeons & Dragons

I'm creating Arcana cleric to play in Rise of Tiamat now, so I don't know yet how it's played - but I'd like to point out that Spell Sniper only doubles the distance for spells with attacks, and most cleric spells have saving throws instead.

You're right! it's only good for attack roll spells. so it's uses would be a lot more limited than I thought.

The Arcana Domain is my favorite domain alongside the Forge Domain. I usually make a gish build that makes use of Booming Blade, Spiritual Weapon, and Spirit Guardians/Animate Objects

A monk with a level dip on Arcana Cleric gives you bless, bane, shield, healing, and guidance. It gives you some roleplay flavour. However, the icing would be booming blade with a War Caster feat. Imagine that monk disabling casters with stunning strikes or their anti-reaction flurry blows. If they manage to survive those, he can use BB to deal damage for its opportunity attacks. This gets more interesting if you cast mind sliver (TCE) with the AO from war caster. The saving throw debuff from a succcesful mind sliver sets up your stunning strike.

I play a arcana domain moth girl. And so far at higher levels, spells hit harder and so far she is by far the most fun I have ever had!

Great video man! Keep it up. I would just like to add that the Arcana Domain cleric can be a great melee cleric as well, not only a caster type. With a Breastplate and a Dex of 14 as well as a Shield, you get 18 Armor Class, which can go up to 20 with Shield of Faith, so you get to be viable in the front lines. Choose Booming Blade from Magic Initiate to help with controling the balltefield. I also think it's nice to pick the Magic Initiate (Druid) feat, and then choose Shillelagh and Thorn Whip as cantrips. You can pick Absorb elements as a lv 1 spell, or even Goodberry, which is always nice (in case no one in the party has it). With a build like this you don't need Strength (Shillelagh + Quarterstaff). Your weapon is always magic, so you can cast Magic QWeapon on the fighter or rogue when you face foes with resistance in low levels. You have all of the fancy cleric stuff, Bless, Spiritual Weapon, Aid, Spirit Guardians. You are super flexible, being able to fight from range or melee, depending on what you are fighting against. While you are not a full fledged tank with absurd AC, resistances or HP, you are solid one. You have good Saving Throws, you can negate a big Fireball hit with Absorb Elements, you can heal yourself as a bonus action Healing Word and still attack. And if you know when to stay melee and when to stay mid-range, buffing, healing and sniping with your spells, you get a solid character. Good melee capability and all of the battlefield control spells from the standard cleric. You can also pick War Caster for that adv on Concentration saves. Or Resilent (Con) to get profficient in it and hold up the concentration on your Bless, Spirit Guardians or any other spells while being in the front lines.

They're also the best carrier of Sword Burst. Being able to wade into the enemy, using Spiritual Weapon and Spirit Guardians then Sword Bursting if they get to close is pretty good. Doing 2D6+5 force damage from level 8 on a DC 16 dex check to multiple targets is good for a cantrip.
