Thank you! I hadnt considered fey touched let alone silvery barbs along side it; as a shadar-kai grave cleric this feat will allow me to do more of what im already doing with out worrying about resorses to much. Thank you!!!

Chef is useful on a Cleric and here's why: Channel Divinity recharges on a short or long rest. You can promote healing without spell slots and get more uses out of a Channel Divinity. Not to mention treats if players don't have any features to use their bonus actions, to shave off some damage. Also, if they keep the one dnd Healer feat, it will interact with healing spells. But the current 5e does not work BUT it will save you Spell Slots. Would recommend. Being a cleric who says, not everything can be solved with magic, and bandages you up.

@@cavernsandcreatures Yes. If it remains throughout publishing, Healer Feat would be able to reroll healing dice rolls of 1.

@@Eidolon98 Thought for sure you'd say something about Chef. Healer Feat provides 1gp potions compared to 25gp. Early game healing is all rolls and worth every hit point.

@@xiongray my problem with chef is that it’s completely outclassed by many forms of temp HP. The twilight domain, Artillerist, inspiring leader, the motivational speech spell even, are all better ways to give your party temp HP. At early levels, you only get 2-3 treats that grant the same amount of temp HP. Even at high levels, 6 temp HP is basically less than 1/3 of a hit. The extra d8 when you finish a short rest is irrelevant. You have enough hit die to fully recover if you really need to, and 4.5 hp on average likely won’t make a difference anyway. It’s a case of features that aren’t bad in any way, they just don’t do nearly enough to justify the investment.

I love having Healer and Inspiring leader feats. Spell slots are greatly saved from the alternate style of protection.

Healer is great for low tier play. Saves one a couple castings of the low level spells. A healer's kit is 10 uses @ 1d6+4+number of hit dice. Much cheaper than a healing potion.

If people play more gritty dnd you will need a healing cleric, but nowadays, it's all about dancing around people's feelings, so nobody wants to kill a character.
