I appreciate you taking the time to run these tests. I agree that different settings will be better at different locations. I fly alone 100% of the time. My understanding is that if that's the case setting my goggles at 40hz/50mnps in auto is supposed to offer the best range and penetration. What I don't understand is that with those settings my performance will be inconsistent depending on the day in the exact same locations. Also, for some reason there's no way I could get the same range if I flew the test in your video. I have the goggles Integra (faa & ham hack) and 3 different kwads all set the same on the 03 air unit system. I feel like I should be getting better range/penetration but I can't think of any else I can do to improve it? Thanks!

It is shocking how much the RF interference can change and effect the video systems. If you dont have an issue, leaving it in auto is the easiest and the performance is generally excellent. If you are flying longer range or you have a spot that has alot of wifi (which does channel hopping), finding the right channel can get you more consistentcy in your signal, atleast that has been my experience.

You never ran it on auto, manual mode is for multiple pilots per the manufacturer.

I will record and post a run on auto. I did not include it in the video because it looked basically Identical to the performance on channel 1 at 40mhz.
