Haven't tried them myself. Personally though I'd rather have good passive air circulation and I want to keep as much weight off the front of the headset, not add more to it.

@@randomperson-wt3ub Yep I bought the BoboVR M2 headset instead for a lot cheaper than the Kiwi and its way less pressure on the forehead, balances the weight out a lot more.

The original foam one I found fine, a bit itchy mind you but they obviously get dirty quick. Silicone one I got for free from Oculus was initially good - until I finished playing a game with it for the first time and couldn't believe the amount of sweat buildup on the forehead and it felt like peeling off another layer of skin. Imo, foam wins despite the slight itchiness. You reckon any of these would alleviate that? Surely regardless of facial interface silicone would cause an annoying amount of sweat buildup...

Yep, I don't like silicone covers for that very reason, and never use one. I'd also never use the original foam one on its own as it soaks up the sweat which is just gross. For me, these replacement ones are much better. The PU Leather means it doesn't soak up sweat. It also doesn't make yourself as sweaty. Also super important is the airflow. These ones will allow air to flow through your face pad better so you'll actually stay cooler than you would compared to the original foam one, and so you will also sweat less to start with. Hope that all helps and let me know if you decide to get one and which one you picked.

dilemma indeed! I think you'd be OK with the kiwi design one if ventilation is top of the list for you. Both of them fitted me ok.

If you’re having lots of pressure on your face then I’d suggest looking at your head strap too. A halo style headstrap for instance takes ALOT of the pressure off your face. For these facial interfaces both are good and it’s just face shape that is more a concern which I covered in the video.

Neither are significantly different from the original in terms of size. The VR Cover one does have a glasses spacer you can get for it that could help with glasses. The Kiwi Design one doesn't have a spacer but it is less curved so might be more accomodating to wider glasses. Haven't tried myself, but I hope that helps.

I am interested in getting the vrcover but is there a different padding to allow a crevice free surface? I am not seeing anything on their site. Would this not create potentially more light leakage and make even more difficult to clean when sharing with friends?

not too sure what you mean by a "crevice free surface". all face pads are going to have creases in them to some degree when you put them on. None of them let light in through that way though if that's what you are worried about. Cleaning any faux leather face pad is really easy and it just needs to be wiped down with a towel or cloth. super easy. Hope that helps.

It's up to you. If you find the standard facial interface comfortable then stick with it. Personally I found it too rough on my face and I'm not a fan of silicone covers. These alternatives I find better. It is a very personal choice though.

I have a question is the kiwi facial interface supposed to like stick out a bit on the sides ( the leather like cover ) for me sticks out on the sides a bit and am not sure if that’s the design or I put on wrong

Most face pads on facial interfaces are oversized compared to the interface itself. It gives users alot more adaptability to finding the right fit.

If your glasses fit in the default facial interface then they'll most likely fit in these. It's hard to come up with a blanket statement though as everyone faceshape and glasses are different.

They are not good company The customer service are very bad they didn't answer and they delayed in answer and they are delayed shipping the items and after that answering that they are very busy I didn't recommend it at all

Which one are you talking about? I've not had any issues with either personally. I would say that it is still the holiday period so alot of companies are very busy and the whole pandemic thing doesn't help with the logistics of shipping. I hope you sort it out so you can get one.
