10 year ago ISO was the evil brother of shutterspeed and aparlture... but who cares about ISO noise these days? Modern cameras are phenomenal when it comes to ISO, and in most cases it doesn't matter whether I shoot at ISO 200 or 1600. Shooting in a wrack with ISO 6400 - so what? And in worst case modern denoising does a fantastic job 😊

Modern cameras certainly produce much better low-noise high-ISO footage than those of a decade (or older) ago. The thing to keep in mind is that the smaller the sensor, the more it will struggle in low light.
