the last part of the ball challenge is what everyone hates. It can be really janky maneuvering the ball on that platform to get it where it needs to go. Everything else is just timing except that one final hurdle.

I hate Kelp Forest. Notably, Kelp Caves. Just a mid level, especially that Mr. Krabs stone tiki puzzle.

Enjoyed listening to your takes! I only have played the PS2 version, I got the remake on my switch (horrible decision, I couldn’t play it because respawn loads are about 10 seconds per death) but since the first and second are so similar I can totally agree with your points. Enjoyable watch!

Top Tier = Spongebob's Dream, Jellyfish Fields, Goo Lagoon... Mid Tier = Sand Mountain, Flying Dutchman's Graveyard, Downtown Bikini Bottom... Bottom Tier = Mermalair, Rock Bottom, Kelp Forest... Although I will say that the remaster makes Kelp Forest a lot better visually. I think Rock Bottom is a bit of a mess even if that may be kind of the point

Honestly here's a quick controversial and based take. I loved Kelp Forest. I just love foresty and jungly levels in games, and the music is amazing

Amazing video, im only 15 mins in but Im finishing it, i suggest getting a cheap usb mic like a snowball or Samson c01u pro, other than that, everything about this video is amazing, i watch this style of content alot and it fit in perfectly with my queue, i hope youre channel gets bigger man, keep it up :)

My least favorite level is easily Kelp Forest. I could never get past the crystals mission as a kid and even later on in rehydrated as a grown ass man with a degree in mathematics it took me longer than I am proud to admit

The rest of the game just feels so intuitive which is really important for a kid's game. Kelp Forest feels like they hang the player out to dry a little bit
