Would love a series with the DPG rounding up dinosaurs from the wild and the black market and moving them to the sanctuary. Each episode can be a different encounter with a team going out to get them. Of course not every mission will be a success as someone could get eaten or a dinosaur might not survive ect they could keep the series running long enough and end it with all the dinosaurs around the world being in safe and secure locations which could end the franchise.

Spoiler Warning For Dominion. I liked Dominion, and I don't think it deserves all the hate it gets. i liked the locust story line and didn't mind the whole Charolette Lockwood stuff. The new dinosaurs were amazing and the characters were great. It just felt incomplete. At one point one of the actors said there was 6 hours of footage or something. I might be wrong. It was too choppy and it felt rushed at the very end. The fight scene was no where close to Indominus vs rexy. The giga basically pushed rexy twice and she was down. The theri killing the giga was nice, but when the giga died I just felt bad. It didn't kill for sport or anything it was just trying to live before being brutally murdered. Finally the lack of hero character death almost gave it no stakes. Along with the fact that the whole og cast could have been removed and there would have been no difference. I seriously hope a directors cut comes out with some extended shots along with the oviraptor deleted scene. Also no spino cameo kind of made me sad.

I like the idea of having a mini series showing how biosyn valley came to be and their relationship with the DPG and how they were collecting dinosaurs and also how Biosyn was able to get 100% DNA for prehistoric animals and also where Dogdson and Ramsey relationship came from and why Dogdson put so much trust in him Also how the Kayla got her job at Biosyn

I agree, this would be awesome. It could also show how they took some of the dinosaurs from Mantah Corp(assuming that happens in Camp Cretaceous). The main Dino antagonist could be the Spinosaurus, and there could be an epic final fight with Spino and the Giga, and the giga wins to show how powerful it is.

Personally I would prefer a series where we are shown Barry and other characters facing the black market of dinosaurs, actually the actor of Barry was part of a French series called Lupin/ Lupan or something like that, which is a more police and criminal focused, so he could be more familiar with this type of series

I'm actually really glad that you put JW so high up on that list. Personally, JW is my JP as that's the first Jurassic movie I was able to watch in the theater. Though what I probably love the most about it is that it's Hammond's dream but fulfilled. What he wanted to create was made possible by Masrani and I just love how both first entries of their respective trilogies set up something new. Like the Park trilogy was heavily focused on dinosaurs on the islands while the World trilogy moved on from dinosaurs on the islands to dinosaurs in OUR world, coexisting along with us.

I agree with most of your rankings but I would have put the lost world higher than Jurassic Park 3. I have a soft spot for that movie due to childhood nostalgia of watching it quite frequently. I don’t know where I would put Dominion as I’ve only seen it once, though first viewing I’d give it an 8.4 maybe?? There’s just so much to it, I need to see it again. Also, hopefully soon the pollen in your area calms down. It seems to be a bad year for pollen everywhere. Plus, the Jurassic World: Aftermath VR game was confirmed to be canon I believe. If I’m not mistaken about this, where would you rank it? I understand not many people have had the chance to explore it due to it being only available on the oculus quest 2.

This is my list: Good: 1. Jurassic Park (the original is so good) 2. Jurassic World (cool, I like how they played on different ideas than John Hammond) Okay: (Tie) 3. Jurassic Park 2 (Jeff Goldblum and the plot) 3. Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom (I liked it and the wrecked Jurassic World, but the cloning subplot ruined it for me) We Need To Talk: 5. Jurassic World Dominion (I loved the original cast getting together, but I wanted it to be about dinos not kidnapping and giant locusts) 6. Jurassic Park 3 (the Kirby family and the velociraptor dream tell you about the movie. The plot was weak, but the visuals were quite good). Just like most movie series, there are good and there are bad. I like how they made one bad from each sub-series. I should mention that I love all of them and I will keep on watching them, just like Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts, but yeah. :)

A lot people think the fact that I rated Fallen Kingdom as third favorite Jurassic movie after Jurassic Park and Jurassic World Dominion is also consverial. But I love it for its story and the references to Michael Crighton novels. My opinion Fallen Kingdom and Dominion have the most Michael Crighton references in the saga.

When it comes to the movies, personally I put them in order they were made from best to worst. I feel like as the films go on, the dinosaurs are becoming less and less important, and less and less of a threat. Which was the whole point of jurassic park. While Jurassic park had an amazing story, the human conflict didn't take over the threat of the dinosaurs, and the raptors, oooooh the raptors, you didn't want to be exposed to them for a second, especially given The Big One's brutal backstory and how she controls her pack. Even Lost World, while having a large focus on human conflict, the dinosaurs were still a huge threat. JP3, again, amazing, on par with Lost World, BUT, the raptors turned a bit soft. Yes Grant distracted them with the call but when they just took the eggs and left, I was just slightly disappointed (but there still my favourite raptors in the franchise). Jurassic World came out and I loved it. Initially I didn't like the hybrid dinosaurs, but the indominus grew on me, then the scorpious rex sold me on hybrids. But the raptors, yes they were trained and Grady was the alpha. Not sure how that works, especially given the fact raptors kill pack members just because they don't like them, not sure why a human gets more respect but ok. And also, the raptors aren't scary anymore, you just have to give them a high five and they walk away..... fair enough. I still love Jurassic World and it's action packed dinosaur drama, and the fight scene was good too! Fallen Kingdom came out, the CGI was amazing, the brachiosaurus scene was enough to make a grown man cry, and the indoraptor was a nice addition, but then there was the volcano. Suddenly the dinosaurs were less of an issue. Which makes sense given the fact the entire island was about to blow. But the ending, oh boy did the ending get me hyped for whats next! Dinosaurs in our world?! What could the next movie bring but more terrifying dinosaur action! no....... locusts..... Yes Dominon had some good creepy dinosaur scenes, the CG was beautiful and the cinematics were perfect. But I just feel like this film went against a lot of what Jurassic Park put out there. Dinosaurs were nothing but a hindrance, the gore was reduced to a minimum, it was more of a family adventure than a thriller in my opinion. Don't get me wrong the story was good, though a bit all over the place. I feel like they tried to cram far too much into 1 film. I'm all about getting tons of content to build up a universe that would finally rival star wars. Speaking of star wars, a lot of the scenes felt like star wars, the black market dodgy stuff happening in malta reminded me of the bar in tatooine, were all the smugglers and bounty hunters met. Kayla Watts and her plane reminded me of some star wars pilot and his rough old space ship. Please, rival star wars, but try stick to dinosaurs. I love the jurassic franchise and where it's going, and it's growing and a nice steady pace. But I would like just as much focus on the dinosaurs than the story. The story in Dominion didn't really involve dinosaurs, dinosaurs were just there. All the other films, even Fallen Kingdom's story was more centred by the dinosaurs, whilst having little side stories to go along with it. The original trilogy pulled that off perfectly!

@@SwrveYT it’s an opinion thing and of course I respect yours so there is no right or wrong here. However in terms of execution, the following scenes alone: - Stegosaurus attack - Desert capture with mamenchisaurus and pachycephalosaurus - Triceratops smashing through camp - double Rex attack - raptors in the long grass grass These are all some of the best scene across all films, never mind what was simply shown in the prologue… not to mention any scene with Roland Tembo. In my eyes the lost world is an easy number 2.

The Lost World (San Diego mayhem aside) is one of my all time favourite movies. This one and the original JP are in my view waaaaay waaaaaay better than any other Jurassic piece of entertainment. Jurassic World was a cool movie, but not even close to the first 2. JP 3 is just a mess of new looking dinos and “we should have something bigger than the Rex”. Fallen Kingdom had cool concepts but I didn’t like it. Dominion, to me, SUCKED completly, was a mess with a stupid, unrealistc plot and characters with zero depth. Only cool thing about it was about “Hey! New dinos!”.

Fallen Kingdom set up dominion well, this is including the short film. The movies is called dominion so why make it about a insects? My issue with the film is that they lose the plot of the film very easily and then the world felt big at the beginning of the movie yet as the film goes on it shrinks in size to the point we are practically away from humans and cities. They film also opens by asking the audience a question. How will humans and dinosaurs co exist. Yet the film fails to deliver that in a narrative way that is satisfying to the audience especially those who have no idea about lore. Dinosaurs in a movie that is call Jurassic world are just background animals that are there just to get in the way of of our humans. Humans are selling Dino’s on black markets and breeding them illegally yet we never truly get a sense of the merging of humans and dinosaurs. They end this movie by oh well now dinosaurs and humans co exist yet they don’t take the time to actually show that or how we got to this point in the time jump stated in the film.

Just stop it, you are literally just milking this franchise and the content it puts out. No one gives a shit about the comics, and it’s completely unfair to rank a short VR game against big budget Hollywood movies. Also, you are smoking crack for saying Jurassic World: Dominion is brilliant, saying it ties everything together and that the damn bugs were really cool. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom WAS setting up Dominion, a world full of dinosaurs where there aren’t many good options. My ranking of the movies and reasons kinda 1. Jurassic park (well its Jurassic park so ofc its number 1, well aside from that the cgi was great and the action scenes were very intense) 2. The lost world: jurassic park ( great sequel, although that boat plot still confuses me but that whole dino capture scene was so amazing, also ian is the main character so +100 points) 3. Jurassic world: dominion (Even though the story was meh in my opinion, and the ending felt a little rushed i still enjoyed the movie and i like how all characters got their happy endings) 4. Jurassic world (Nice little remake/reboot although some of the characters were just boring stereotypes like owen being the badass strong dude or claire being the business woman, i feel like jurassic world was just good, not bad but not amazing ) 5. Jurassic park 3 ( to be honest its not as bad as i thought, some things made a little salty back then like the t-rex dying and bla bla, the story was also meh, but overall it's okay) 6. Jurassic world: fallen kingdom ( this is my least favorite movie because of some plot stuff, like when the toxic gas that was seeping in to the dino cells couldn't claire just open the main gate without opening the individual cells that way the air would be filtered out but the dinosaurs would still be in their cells, and that whole lava scene was just stupid, and i still don't understand why the indoraptor was so focused on eating/killing maisie like it got out lockwood manor just to go back in to hunt maisie, overall this movie is just bad)
