Im not Mogwai but, Victreebell, New Taurus and Duck or Kanga with Leaf + xspeed and Flutes, Geovani is really good. Your strategy is just KO any low hp mon or damage EX basics early game with duck or kanga to 1 shot Taurus or flytrap later. Best is if you could kill evolved because it means u can fill up their bench with flute and no way to evolve them, you just bricked their bench. This is rare but it feels good when it happens. Your 1x Taurus is anti ex mon because they have big HP and flytrap cant kill them. It's really good if its basic ex, You can pull them with flytrap then retreat, and hit with Taurus. They usually don't see it coming especially if you hold on to the flytrap evolution on hand. Taurus is not that hard to power here since most of your mon has 1 energy to attack and you have leaf + xspeeds for retreat. Also since red cards are rare now try to hold on to the flytrap as long as you can and evolve when necessary.

@@ekul2k3 maybe substituteing either a weezing line + koga or alakazam line for a single scolopide line could give u another option for damage. even if you only get down a stage 1, the poison plus 20 damage for 1 energy can not only save u a weezing tank for later, but can easily be retreated into alakazam for less energy while saving a koga. not to mention what happens if u can get the scolopide down before even ur alakazam is online, a cool 170 damage against psychic types just further helps this deck against both mew and mewtwo. thats just a hypothesis though, i could be very wrong

Damn, how good was Mythical Island as an expansion set of cards for the meta? Mew is just so damn versatile. I thought Budding was going to make it really broken, but it actually makes it super technical and interesting. The game is way more interesting and diverse to play now and I love it. I'm so glad I got in on month one so I can have all the early cards and then watch where this thing can go from here. I'm genuinely impressed (also, great video and deck, Mog!)

Hey Mog and all poke trainers reading this, a quick tip here, you can edit your deck's card by holding down left click button on your deck while in the "battle screen" without having to navigate through the "deck button(the button beside the home button)" via the UI. The "battle screen" is where u see the big green/blue Battle button, this works for both PC players and mobile users. Keep up the livestreams! @@piotrkowalczyk9608Its pure RNG tho. I need 9 cards total to finish both sets. The only cards I usually get from Wonder Pick are Full Art Cards, or cards I already have. I have yet to pull and EX card from Wonder Pick while I only miss Arcanine EX, Mew EX and Machamp EX. I also somehow have 4 Special Full Art Pikachu EX card. And with this I still even miss freaking Magneton, Alakazam (Have the Full Art), Flareon, Greninja, Golem and Raichu. The only money I spent is the Premium Pass for December.

I've tried using two Druddigon instead of the other version of Pidgeot and the other psychic Pokémon, and it also works pretty well at stalling. My recommendation there is to only have Water and Fire energy, since you won't discard when Mew copies Psychic Force, and the lost early damage is compensated by Druddigon's ability

I want to love this deck. I really do. I've played 5 matches with it, and won once. Came across 3 Celebi decks and one Pikachu EX deck. Can't remember the other one. But in almost every match, I've had to dig down to the last 2-3 cards into my deck for my FIRST Pidgeotto. Mew can only do so much (does nothing against Pikachu EX)

MOGWAI PLEASE READ THIS! I made a deck I would like you to try out, I was trying to make the best tanking deck and this is what I came up with. Its a Melmetal deck that also has mew ex, and drudigon, with 2 blues and potions to tank everything. The idea is that if melmetal gets going early it can kill almost anything, especially running one copy of giovanni, which makes him one shot many things in the current meta like mew and celebi or starmie. And mew is there to cover for melmetal’s missmatches like mewtwo or Charizard. The one copy of drudigon makes it so melmetal can one shot even things that are out of its 120 damage range, and with many pivoting options, running 2 x speed, 1 leaf and 1 budding expeditioner, this deck can tank and pivot to be able to survive even slow starts because it does need good amounts of energy to be able to attack. I went 9-0 with this once, and overall have about 80% winrate, mainly losing to misty heads or slow start against blaine deck, still this deck is amazing and surprisingly strong. I think I pretty much covered the whole deck but if anyone wants the decklist just ask, keep up the great videos Mogwai

I tried this deck, i had to make a small change and switch from psychic to any other energy. Because when you use mew against mewtwo , you have to discard 2 energies as well but if you use any other type of energy you keep your energies and continue to destroy everything else

How come you use the 10 dmg Pidgey instead of the 20 dmg one? Is the difference of HP that significant? I don't think there are many things that would put one at risk but not the other, the extra damage seems more significant.

Please try with marshadow and meowth- marshadow is an early game threat that lets meowth pull for longer - also experimented with drudigon as a wall but you lose on draw power

I was experimenting with pidgeot ex and then decided to see if anyone came up with what i came up with: 2x Arcanine Ex 2x Moltres Ex 2x Pidgeot Ex 2x X Speed 2x Pokeball 2x Prof. Research 2x Potion/Giovanni (as you like - potion helps arcanine stay alive to sweep, gio clears mew ex and zapdos) Build pidgeot ex every turn while moltres batteries arcanine - i usually get him sweeping by 2nd or 3rd turn without needing to attach to him. it gives you A LOT of pivot moments so early on into the game when either sweeper can win you the game so you can choose to full invest in one to insta win instead of split investing. Coverage is insane too

I run both regular pidgeot and both ex, I was using a chatot to cycle, but I'm definitely gonna give sigilyth a shot. I'd trade an xspeed for a Sabrina tho, she's come in handy enough times in early games before I get my pidgeot online to justify the trade.

I think I might have just created the best deck.... it's scaring me how good it is and I've been running through everyone. Maybe you can test it out? Honestly it might need to be nerfed Decklist: 2x Kabuto 2x Kabutops 2x Aerodactyl EX 2x Chatot 2x Aerodactyl (reg) 1x X Speed 1x Poke Ball 2x Helix Fossil 2x Dome Fossil 2x Old Amber 2x Professor's Research As you can see Chatot is the only basic pokemon in the deck. The line is simple 1. Turn one play Chatot and any Fossils or card draw.(goal is to have Old Fossil down turn 1 or if going 2nd have cycled with Chatot) 2. If you played old Fossil. Start cycling for Aerodactyl EX 3. CONSISTENTLY I have him going by turn 3 and I'm rushing down opponents... I know I know his ability suck.... we thought until your opponent isn't setup and you're knocking out pokemon a turn or 2 before their ready.

I think the psychic variant is more consistent just because of the draw card pokemon and having more options to rely on over praying to draw the pidgeot line. Other than energy typing, dragonite decks really suffer because it doesn't have multiple threats

Poké Flute forces a Basic Pokemon out from the Opponent’s Graveyard to his Bench, and Pidgeot with that will deal 20 Additional Damage (Pidgeot deals 20 Extra Damage for each Pokemon on your Opponent’s Bench) and Giovanni adds 10 Damage to this, so it becomes 30 Total.

Might be worth a look at: x2 of full frokie line x1 Bruxish x2 Drudigon x2 Prof Research x2 Pokeball x1 X Speed x2 Potion x2 Misty x1 Sabrina x1 Leaf The mistys are for greninja line and Brux. the other fire/water can go to Drudigon. The chip damage makes brux very powerful, ive been surprised at how effective it is. The trainer cards etc could be moved around a bit but adding brux to the greninja/Drud deck is a major upgrade. Enjoying the pocket uploads Mog
