I've always said mages are the most diverse class, and warriors are the most diverse individuals. As in mages have a god for every role, but the gods themselves can only play so many roles. Warriors on the other hand will be weaker in each role, but they have the ability to flex to other roles easily.

Nah hunters are def the strongest. I have actually done all of these teams before (not the exact gods but all one class) and I have won with all hunters on mult occasions. Guardians I have never won with warriors are def the second best then mages then assassins. But hunters by far are the strongest cause there are tanky hunters like lifesteal CERN and a bruiser heim to do some slight tanking and as long as ppl can hit basics you will kill 99% of people before they can you. I know it seems the opposite of how it should go but most team fights you will actually come.out ahead. Now one or two might die but you will kill 4-5 of them and be free to take a tower, nix, gold, etc..

@@b0sslibra yea but that’s assuming you can avoid team fights and give hunters enough time to build their items before their opponents can; I can see against something like guardians and warriors how that would work but mages just simply outclass hunters in terms of lane clear and with the high burst hunters would have to sacrifice damage for defense which most mages don’t have to worry about since they have superior lifesteal items and would just bully the hunters until late game where the hunters would be able too mount a comeback if they haven’t lost already.

First of all. Great video! Love those theoretical comps. I woul just like to state my personal opinion in some teams. For the assassins team i would put something like: ADC = Tsukyomi (He has great clear, ranged poke and can easly box hunter as he has disarm and a lot of CC) Supp = Rat / Serquet (Any of those works great, Serquet has a lot of setup and Rat has the tanky acorn) Jungle = Nemesis (She is kinda of king of jungle in the meta now, and as said she can shred protections) Mid = Thor (Great clear, great mobility, great escape and can easly rotate with his ult) Solo = Camatoz/Batz (Cama is great in solo, as said, but i'm missing a bit of AoE dmg/setup in this comp with I think Batz can bring) For the mages team, i don't think i would gave up on Baron supp he fits that role wayyy better than any of the other mages and there are a few other opitions for solo. My comp would be something like: ADC = Olorum/Freya (As said, any of those can do the job at high level) Supp = Baron (He is simply the best fit for the role) Jungle = He Bo (Since he is the only one beeing played at competitive level with great sucess) Mid = Morrigan (I liked the logic of her been able to transform in some of the enemy god. This realy could make the difference) Solo = Hades/Aphro (Hades can easly trade with other solos and bully them as said, but with some many great healers in mages i think it would be a waste not to abuse that, and Hell can easly be ganked)

Honestly for ADC for Guardians, I think Fafnir would be a really good choice. He doesn’t have range but his kit especially with his 2 being a self heal and attack speed and damage buff on top of his good CC and survivability with the ult and leap (plus he can win trades with the disarm). Add to this the crazy damage he can put out in Dragon form I think that makes him a good contender. It would also give the team a much needed damage boost against objectives and towers you said they were missing with the Coerce buff in dragon form. I don’t know why Cernunnos wasn’t picked as a support or solo for Hunter team. He has great CC peel with ult and root, and his shifting seasons gives perma slows or protection shred for the team or built in sustain while in the Solo For assassins I would actually pick Set for mid, since he not only has much safer lane clear with Skewer and clones and a teleport for safety, but his ult also makes him a formidable presence that the enemy team has to deal with right away or they are going to get shredded, and also makes him very hard to gank with the sustain it provides. Also, out of all the choices, he is the only assassin that has had repeated success in mid role at SPL level play from Paul.

He's sleeping on way more than that, I've got at least 10 picks he missed... so to name a few, Ravana solo, Scylla jungle, Poseidon jungle, Ra jungle (super unorthodox but nuts) , Hou-Yi jungle for bounces -takes practice , but well worth it, it actually pays off-, Janus mid is dirty for so many reasons, izanami jungle, Cabra with poly carry, Ymir jungle, Ymir carry, Chang'e mid or support, Bellona jungle. That's not even it. I could go into detail but if you don't believe me try any one of those I mentioned. Just make sure you know what items each character can take most advantage of

The ult is pretty nice, but it's unlikely the team will line up for a big ult and other mages are safer. But there's also just better mages to pick for mid and support

Had a few friends try this a while ago and the only one we were unable to win with was of course... Guardians. We were close in 1 game but like it was mentioned trying to take objectives was extremely difficult. Warriors ended up a struggle but only because the adc seemed to have a rough time so I picked up Osiris there myself and we won to a surrender. Hunters was tough but once it got to late game you can split push and shred objectives very easily. Assassins I remember being fairly easy, personally I think they have a lot of flex potential and I found Loki in mid worked very well because of his solid and safe wave clear. Mages as expected were the easiest because mage adcs are very strong right now and they have so much variety you can easily make a fantastic team comp with them. This challenge is great fun so I’d advise giving it a go, make sure you pick gods you’re comfortable on as well, don’t just pick what should be the strongest.

I mean numerous times I've seen and played as 5 man guardian teams and completely stomped. High damage, high cc and tanky. Warriors are basically the guardian just not as tanky. If this was an actual fight guardians would hands down beat any class except maybe warrior

In a flat out team fight since hunters are generally single target. They ain't winning a team fight against gods that are built for it. I have some different picks for this, but not far off at all. Mages - I would probably still pick Zhong into the solo lane and move Baron to Support. I feel Baron excels when there's an actual frontline tank to dive the backline and Zhong can provide that. Guardians - This is a tough one. I think Yemoja's early power is too good not to put in duo lane, and I feel like she's the best actual support at the minute. For mid I would actually put Cthulhu there and then have Sobek, Kuzenbo or Xing in solo. Jorm would be a no brainer in mid if this was a year ago, bring out the Zyrhoes special. Hunters - Not much to say here, but I do like Hou Yi over Ullr in the jungle. Get some nice bounces. Assassins - Definitely have Set here over Kali in ADC. Snoopy on Set is a classic at this point. Also my bias wants Pele Mid but no way is she beating Tsuku there. Warriors - This one is pretty much perfect. Got it spot on. I would put Hades for supp instead of Nox. Hades can do more to peel and set up and while Nox has the best single target cc combo in the game, it's only single target. On top of that, Nox's combo doesn't displace enemy gods like Sobek or Khepri does. Plus, Hades is naturally super tanky which makes him better for either diving and forcing relics from enemy backliners, or playing the classic support role.

I think mid Ganesha is underrated for the guardian team. If you haven't tried playing full damage Ganesha before it is a thing of beauty. You literally melt people with your ult and still assist your team well while hitting hard with your 3 and 2 and the damage boost of your 1

So my friends and I used to 5 queue for arena and one night we decided to all play as one class. Keep in mind this was season 5 and not conquest. However we found that full mage teams were the best, followed by guardians, then warriors and hunters were tied, and assassins were by far the hardest to win with. Hunters just got dived constantly, and warriors and assassins always had a rough time engaging and when you did it was hard to win the fight because it was very easy to get poked out at the start

Honestly i agreed with and predicted most of the things you said, the only thing that I’d like to see is Sylvanus as an adc, the tank pics were pretty damn solid and I feel like good tank players and roll most other players as I think being a supp/jung main. Back in the day my friend and I would go Osiris adc xing tank and it worked out really well when he did attack speed as long as you win your first 1-2 fights in duo. I would have put Herc in mid and Horus Support for the Warriors. I would have put Cupid as the ADC, Artemis as Support, Chiron or Medusa maybe Chernobog Mid, Hou Yi Jungle, and Ullr as Solo for Hunters. I would have had Cabrakan in ADC, Kepri Support, and Ymir Jungle. I also think Cabrakan as the ADC might be surprisingly good, had a few games in Arena where I build a basic attack focused Cabrakan and did extremely well 13/3/16. The Guardians can have high damage and CC so they are a lot better than expected.

If they're playing against a normal team comp, I 100% agree team guardian is the worst. However, if these teams are ONLY playing against each other, I feel like guardians would just barely win over mages due to high guardian base damage and protections. It would be a matter of cooldowns as well. Hunters would obviously shred any sort of tank but fail to do anything against high burst mages or assassins. Assassin's would just roll over any team but guardians or warriors. Guardians vs warriors i feel would be the closest match up of all the teams. All in all it would depend on the strategy of each team really. This would be interesting to see.

Not having seen the video, i would think it's either mage or warrior, i think mage is more likely. Edit: not having seen much but why the fuck is Aphrodite not even considered a support for the mages? Edit 2 (now finished): hurray i guessed it right, mages build the best team and warriors are the second best. I think the mage team is the one i would have built the most differently, like ao kuang in jungle, maybe even morrigan, and possibly hel put into the team as either support or as hel solo with baron in support. If morrigan is jungle, i think i would have put scylla, hera or Persephone in midlane, this is a very difficult desicion. But then again, mages are probably the most diverse class in the game and have by far the most members and with this the most options. On the hunter team i would have put izanami in midlane, but i have to admit that neith is just better with her ult. I hate neith so much. The warrior team is just very good, i would have liked to see king arthur in solo simply because i like him very much, but again amaterasu is just better. The guardians... Well there could have been an athena to build up a little global pressure since the guardians are usually quite slow but I'm not sure in which role she would fit best. I wouldn't change anything in this team. Assassins... Just switch nemesis for bakasura and you have the team i would have picked. Again, i just like him more and i think they are both very good picks in this team.

I wouldve changed almost the entire hunter team. Rama is fine, but Anhur support is proven to be viable. Skadi jungle is super slept on imo. Izanami mid has crazy gank potential and wave clear. Cernunnos solo lane cause he has built in sustain and solid clear too.

Literally before i watch can tell u that uts mages because change/baron/Aphro/hel can all play support or solo lane and oloron/chronic can play adc and he bo is one of the best jungles out there right now

If Odin was picked for one of the warrior roles, Odin could easily trap them all the mages, as they have no escapes or leaps through Odins ult, as the mages have a load of healing
