What is the best TET bike? | V-Stromania Wild | V-Strom 1000, YamahaTenere 700, AfricaTwin, KTM 1190

Măi băieți, sunteți super tari. Am carnet din 99, dar sa va dați cu motoare de peste 230 kg prin zonele astea.....😁😁😁. Din ce observ și la cum le trântiți vă puteți permite lejer să faceți aceleași lucruri cu niste motoare mai ușoare și mai convenabile la preț. Sincer va urmăresc de ceva ani și apreciez enorm câtă perseverenta și plăcere relaxare puneți. Singura necunoscuta de este de ce nu încercați cu motoare mai ușoare. Este mult mai "fun" și mai puțin obositor. Ii n rest,numai de bine 🤗🤗🤗🤗

Multumim Bogdan, cred ca tine de specificul grupului treaba cu motoarele, practic toti am plecat de la Suzuki V-Strom 650 sau 1000, unii au ramas la V-Strom, altii au trecut la Africana, BMW, Ducati sau Yamaha. Practic insa, toti ne-am obisnuit de la inceput cu binele (putere, confort), plimbari cu sotia in spate la fel, cu bagaje, catel, purcel. De-a lungul timpului insa, unii dintre noi au inceput sa o ia si pe offroad, mai mult, mai putin, cat s-a putut. Urmand trendul asta am ajuns sa facem ghidusii cu motoare asa mari. Asta ca sa iti faci o idee, probabil daca voiam acum 5 ani sa intru cu motorul in asa teren in nici un caz nu cumparam in KTM 1190 Adventure pentru asta. Acum insa, e o optiune serioasa o a doua motocicleta mai mica. Vedem, negociem :)

Way to help others and show how to do it also. That was a LOT of different and tough terrain but sure worth it! The bikes are all good and I am NOT a bike snob. Ride what ya brought is all good. I love my '14 vstrom 1000 set up for more off road. It is an underrated but incredible and reliable machine. Cant wait for the next one guys!!! Take care and be safe my friends!!

I too think the same way, the best bike is what you got. "Too heavy, too tall, etc" are only excuses, all that matters is to be safe and have fun. I ride the perfect TET bike for me because it is the only one I got :)

Depending on your trade you could get away working remotely, Romania has the 3-rd Internet speed in the world, really nice coverage too. Popping the laptop in the middle of nowhere should be no issue :)

Kind of depends. In these videos there's stock V-Stroms (like Vlad's yellow XT) and there's Adi's "Desert Express" one (larger wheels different suspension. On these kind of roads the 650 would have ridden just the same in my mind. In my opinion, if a motorcycle is too big and heavy for you to lift on your own, you need a smaller one for adenture riding. I ride a KTM 640 Adventure (160 kg) and that's more than enough. If it can ride all day long with 140 km/h and then rip offroad, why would you struggle with a 1000cc bike that makes you fear a puddle or some rocky slopes? No hate, just honestly confused

Yea, got your point and you are right. It's a compromise at the end of the day when it comes to bikes. And I don't only mean weight/confort/power/price, if you know what I mean. I advocate riding what you have as long as you're doing it in a safe-ish manner. I also dream of a 690 or 701 as a second bike, as long as I'll have it, I will ride the 1190 which is the best, lightest, most powerful bike I have. So I'll make the best of my time with it :D Ride safe mate!

Toby, what I did not mention is Adi has the Desert Express kit on his Strom. That is larger wheels (21" front), different suspension and other bits. That is why he mentioned the ground clearance and suspension travel.
