Everyone’s going to comment now “blah my half ton will pull it just fine”...yes the newer half tons will do it but a 3/4 ton will do it with a lot less effort, and a lot more suspension comfort and braking power/comfort. Great yeah will the half to do it yes it’s just not going to be as easy of an experience.

Great video Eddie, we have a 24 foot Forest River Work and Play that weighs 6500 pounds dry but has an insane 5000 pound payload capacity I tow it with my half ton GMC 5.3 L that has a 9700 pound towing capacity. We can fit two harleys or one golf cart and two bicycles. It has the bed and bath up front similar to yours.

That is exactly right. Especially with all the idiots on the road...all your breaking isn’t going to be nice and pretty. An aggressive stop with a lite truck is a recipe for disaster. So yes, your F-150/1500 can tow an airliner...but it can’t stop 8500 pounds if you really needed it to. Thanks for the video kind sir. Happy holidays all

Eddie I pull a TH out to the dunes with a 2500 6.0 gas and she comes in about 12,300. Never had an issue.

Some 2009 WEekend warriors have had the fuel station on the other side. Definitely much better over there. May want to get your frame upgraded so you don’t get Wall sag as well. As much as you use your trailer it’s gonna happen eventually.

RAM 2500 6.4 with 4:10 gears can pull it I pull my 39ft toy hauler... It does fine... FYI getting the new 2020 3500 diesel when its released... nothing like cummins

You can pull it with a gasser but it cant be a half ton (1500).

Hey eddie, i have a jayco talon 30 toy hauler, tag along style like yours. I pull it with my 2012 deleted CCLB duramax 2500. I think with 2 atvs in it she weighs in at around 10k. Do you think im okay to run the H&S 50 horse tow tune with that weight? I really like the extra ponys getting on the freeway. Do you run a tune while towing?
