I like the challenge of playing from behind, but the truth is, the emotional damage of the team usually is too much, lol players are such a quitters, they just get afk or play even poorly they already were.

The best way to play from behind is to never be behind - simple. Let’s face it - most people play after work or school and they are tired, some get upset easy and get tilted to spam ff, some people play from Internet cafe and might leave every moment. You are never 100% sure about your teammates. That’s why my approach for this season is to focus on early game, focus on farming and trading in lane. I lowered my expectations towards teammates and instead demand from myself to keep calm and collected. Always diamond 5 - right now I’m d2 and I really feel I can get Master for the first time ever. Believe in yourself and work hard

2:51 well it kinda is worth it, depending on the Wave and Sums. If Renek has TP and Nasus does not, then its even more worth. Nasus loses more because Renek got the push (+ bounce back), Nasus lost the Gold AND XP from minions dying to tower. After that Renek can freeze and make Nasus' life miserable.

Nasus only needs 3 things to outscale Renekton, Sheen, Tier 2 boots, and Glacial Buckler, after that Renekton takes too long to kill him. The thing vs Nasus is yes, you can freeze but when you are stronger, your minions are stronger and the wave will push either way. You have to group up as Renekton to spread your lead, Nasus dont really give a damn and sidelanes for the farm that he missed early and thats how he gets back into it.

Wait wait, so. What you're saying is, when I'm behind playing Gnar, I shouldn't be buying all defensive items and build damage instead? :o

Not in a sense that you should start building crit items on Gnar just for pure damage, but if my core items on Gnar are Trinity > Black Cleaver, and I have a really bad game vs Jax and I only have money for 2 items, I would still go Trinity > Black Cleaver instead of Trinity > Randuins Omen. Even if I start building defense, Jax is still strong enough to kill me, and I wont be able to kill him. Gnar however is a bruiser and does well with armor items, so its not the end of the world. It applies more to traditional damage dealing carries, imagine a mage like Orianna vs Zed losing early and having to build Zhonyas. Shes going to deal very little damage, and Zed is now able to ignore her and turn to her team instead, so the zhonyas is wasted. Most people buy zhonyas into Zed because they think about his ult and how they are a target for him, but the moment you complete zhonyas, you waste 3000+ Gold, because he can still kill you (a bit slower) but now you cant kill him. If Orianna went Shadowflame or Deathcap, and Zed makes a mistake, she has the damage to punish that. At the same time, if Zed gets Hexdrinker when ahead, he minimizes the chances of dying to Orianna, while still having the ability to kill her.

I don't agree that it's necessarily the opponent who decides the win/loss, it's honestly your teammates who have the biggest impact! The amount of times I have won a game despite losing in the beginning is astounding. So many LoL players just insta-quit if they aren't winning in the first 5-10 mins. I don't even think this is something that can be fixed tbh, people are just such egotistical babies that they can't STAND playing out the game if they even begin to struggle. The best way to play from behind is to simply PLAY THE GAME lol. The worst that can happen if you don't ff is that you still lose, but you would have lost the game anyways if you ff'd, so.... Why not take the chance that you can squeak out a win from behind? It genuinely confuses the shit out of me how normal it is to just give up.

Oh it’s possible, but not with that mindset.
