Thank you for the experiment!...if you do a follow-up, it would be best to compare the difference of the final temperature and starting temperature to understand the warm up rate. You can't conclude the Active Wrap stays cold longer since we don't know what the starting temperature is. I did end up buying the Polar based on your experiment (and thanks for the discount code, too).

I would recommend the active wrap. Active wrap is my favorite!! Some info on it: Active wrap stays cold up to 45 mins and it is very easy to store in the freezer. The ice packs attach by Velcro into the knee sleeve. I would recommend buying the knee sleeve (which comes with 2 ice packs) AND a set of extra ice packs so you can always have 2 cold ones in the freezer.
