Awesome! New solar panel prices are crazy low now vs what we paid just 8-10 years ago. $140 for a 100w panel? Yep. Now, a 100w panel is around $80 and seen some for even less! Gotta love Unistrut...so, easy to make a solid platform for panels. For hardware - Tractor Supply saved me a TON of money in cost. But, overall, solar panels are lower in cost and most everything else is 30% higher or so. I also got "snail trails" or spiders in my Renogy panels too. Weird thing...some look new and some look gnarly.

Yeah panel prices are better for sure. But hardware prices sucks !

About an hour away from you here in Stockport. I'm new to solar but learning fast. I was hoping you had better luck with SanTan, I'm gonna get a pallet just to get something on my roof. I have a small cabin so my power needs aren't much, and I know I'll still have to depend on grid power to heat and cool the place. I went with a 12v system (probably foolish i know) just because most of the stuff I have is 12v. Hopefully by the time I'm done my light bill will be a little lower.

I was just up that way a couple of weeks ago. Up by Dale ! My System is 24 Volt and does me Good. I wouldnt mind changing over to 48 volt.

Have just started looking at making a ground mount from unistrut. Wow - $30+ a piece now.

Yes prices have increased for sure. If I recall I was getting the Unistrut for $19 each at 10 foot .

Bearing burnt up and lack of Wind,,,It was a expirement. Not worth it because didnt produce alot of power

Ow ok yes if you do not have the wind they will not make any power, I have two of them and they were great What brand is it?
