What is the Day of the Lord in Joel? (Joel

"I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh … I will show wonders: blood, fire and columns of smoke." Wait … what? Why are these two declarations in the same passage? What do they have to do with each other? That's what I hope to make sense of in this teaching.
Joel 2:28-32 talks about events that will happen on the Day of the Lord. Joel, and other prophets, describes the Day of the Lord as, "The great and terrible day of the Lord." What I share in this teaching will help towards a general understanding of the concept of the Day of the Lord in the Bible. Specifically, this teaching will help answer the question, "What is the Day of the Lord in Joel?"

Wow this explains so much. I just came to the conclusion of the scripture of the day of the Lord coming as a thief in the night and people think this is the rapture. I just came to figure this out that it’s not, but it’s what you’re saying. It’s a day of wrath and we need to call upon him in that day so we will he saved. Excellent teaching. Accurate.

This verse is referencing nukes. When they drop the bombs, fires and a gargantuan pillar of smoke appears, leading to a quarter million deaths - blood, then darkness - when the smoke blots out the sun, then nuclear winter

The part of the sentence that say's, "Those who escape" is creating a stir. Many think it's the rapture happening at the sixth seal, because the sun and moon sounds like the sun and moon at the sixth seal. So I wish you would have explained to people that its not the rapture. There is also argument as to when verses 30 & 31 is happening. The very beginning of the Tribulation, Mid Point, or near the end. Thanks for the video.. GB

Don't we all fail? would u bet on yourself to finish life as a holy man until the day of the lord? I believe we will overcome but we must have something to overcome if we are to truly be over comers..Didn't the word say that we are all sinners and we all fall short?
