What is the DEEP control of this Klanghelm FREE compressor?

According to the manual on the klanghelm homepage, the deep control "Enables a side-chain high pass filter to keep the low-end intact", which makes perfectly sense. And I think it makes sense, that they chose the word "Deep" to describe that.
