Fusion 360 has two commands which appear to do the same thing to the uninitiated. "Delete" - which removes sketches, features and bodies - removes these things as if they never existed. This can cause child-features built on these items to fail. "Remove" can only remove bodies, but when it does, it does so in the context of the timeline - which means features built on those bodies will not fail. Of course - this all works only if you are working in Fusion 360's parametric mode. Remove is not available in the direct modelling environment...but then again, in a non-parametric environment - it's not needed! In this video, I show how all this works. Good Luck!
