I had a tonsillectomy almost 3 years ago. I used to NEVER get sick and now I will catch things so easily. This will be riskier for you when you are old when your immune system isn’t as strong. I would suggest keeping them, or if you must doing a partial tonsillectomy, keeping as much of it as you can. Your health is precious.

@@jeanc9868this absolutely depends on the person. I was getting sick with tonsillitis once a month or more give or take, sick for two weeks about each time, for the last few years. Tonsillectomy stopped that!
